The anchor is sturdy with a properly sized eye to accept a one inch shackle. The shaft hinge is critical to good bottom hookups and seems well done on this model.

This anchor is very solid made, and the vinyl coating is a plus. It is very heavy too. Well worth the price.
Not to be trusted
I purchase this anchor last year and used for a season. First trip out this season and this one failed. Broke in the shaft behind the coating. Didn’t appear to be corroded just inferior metal quality
