The main problem with people that don't like oil filled heaters is because they don't understand them. Some people get upset because they think they don't work or they're too slow to heat up. At one time,I thought the same thing, til I put one to the test. My "OLD" cracker box has a draft the the furnace had torun all the time and that put my heating bill really high, but once I got my new heater and let it warm up, my old cracker box was toasty, noy hot, but toasty and my power bill was cut in half ! Now since I'm retired, I don't have to worry about turning it off durning the day while I'm at home..

Safe heater

This is a very safe heater, put on low to heat a small(10x12) took the chill off in about 7 minutes . Warmed the room to cozy warm in 20. Would by again.

Slow to heat-up, But it really heats up a room!

The Pelonis radiator style oil heater seems to take awhile to heat up if you are used to other types of heaters; however, it's worth the wait. This heater keeps the rooms where they are located warm throughout the WHOLE room. And when you turn it off, the heat stays in the room for awhile because of the heated oil. AND, I received a great bargain when I bought mine at the end of the season. I was there when they initiated a great markdown. I was able to buy three of these great heaters for only $15.00 a piece! WoW! What a savings!

Quiet and heats nicely

Quiet, heats efficiently. Very light so it's easy to move around. YES there's a "new electric appliance" smell but as suggested by others, I let it run on max for 4 hours outside first and I haven't had any issues with it since.

Takes the chill out of the air silently and effectively.

Silent, effective heat when we need a little in the kitchen area makes this a product we should have had a lot earlier. We sometimes use it in conjunction with a Rowenta circulating fan [also silent] to circulate the heat more widely. An effective unit. No sound or odors make it a pleasure to use.

I would never say "Awesonme sauce!"

Only had about 4 cold nights here so far but this radiator/heater was just what was needed. Kept my large living room toasty warm. The remote control makes it very convenient to program and run. Very satisfied thus far.

For the $ to quality ratio. You can't go wrong!

Good price, and very fast shipping! The only things I could even partially complain about, is that the temperature settings are preset in 5° increments instead of being able to choose EXACT temperature. And(though very easy to do), you have to attach the wheels yourself. Just thought that was something that could have been done in the factory. Other than that, so far so good.

Competent and quiet heater for smaller areas

No complaints. This unit was intended as a replacement for a ceramic heater that was being used as supplemental heat in our RV 5th wheel trailer at the cooler ends of the NY season. While the ceramic heater worked fine, we were hoping this radiant heater would perform the same function without the noisy fan. We've only used it once so far on an unusually cold May night, and it delivered with flying colors. While it takes longer to initially heat the RV than the ceramic heater (we just start by using the RV furnace to get to a pleasant temperature ), once up to temperature it did a fine job of silently keeping it there. Overall, very satisfied with the performance. It met our needs.
