I put these on my finished wood basement stars since they tended to be slippery for my dog and when I'm only wearing socks. I took the extra step to tape them down with double sided tape. The grip is excellent for both of us and look like they'll last a lifetime.

Works perfectly for my indoor stairway leading into the basement. Clings well to the painted steps.

Easy and non stick, they do help in griping slippery steps. Decent size and weight. The rubber smell is strong. The edge that hangs over sticks out a bit , would be nice if the did rounded ones for different stair treads.

So nice to cover my chipped steps. It's temporary until I'm able to remodel the steps. It's non-slip and covered the steps nicely.

These work great for my outdoor stairs, just wish they came with screws/holes for screws to secure them to the stairs/keep them in place.

I Cannot Recommend (Trip Hazard)

It was not really clear to me in the description, but the lip on these protrudes at a 45° angle. It doesn't hang at a 90° angle over conventional stairstep for our house that is a trip hazard. I have to return 3 packs and it delays my move.

These treads are definitely thick and pick up the crud you might track into the house. They are very crude and utilitarian looking. The edges aren't trimmed well. But they will be fine for going down into our unfinished basement. But not nice-enough looking for going up to our living levels.

I ordered these stair tread for some outdoor steps to give my senior dog some traction going down the steps. The stair treads are heavy and stay in place fairly well on their own, but I will be glueing them down after I paint the steps. I would order them again.

This five pack of stair tread covers come in a black rectangle non slip rubber pad. Each pad fit perfectly onto our 5 stair wood entryway. Each rubber pad has a downward lip at the front of the pad that sits securely onto the stair. Each pad measures thirty inches in width and ten inches in depth with 51 rounded black coin design on center with a border at the beginning and end of the stair pad. I place the stair pad outdoors since it does carry a rubber odor and more useful due to it withstanding the high volume entryway for our family and pets. Low maintenance in cleaning, durable and give a safety feature of non slip along with it being water proof and stain resistant.

We are using these rubber stair treads on the concrete steps in our garage. The strong chemical smell they emit stays out there; maybe with age it will go away. The treads measure 29½" x 9¾" with a 1" overhang for the step’s nose; that's smaller than advertised.

[Rewarded Review] Helpful in lessening slipping risk

We have some deck stairs that can tend to get slippery and we wanted to get something that might help with traction. We saw these Ottomanson Rubber Black Coin 10 in. x 30 in. Stair Tread Cover (5-Pack) and thought it might be a good choice to help. We have more than five stairs but we thought we’d start with this five pack to see how they work. These stair covers have a lip at one end that wraps over the edge of the steps to help them stay in place. I was initially concerned that the covers might not stay in place but so far there have not been any issues with them slipping out of place. They do a pretty good job in lessening the slip danger on the stairs. I have not had these very long but so far I don’t have any complaints. I’m not sure how long these will last but as of now, I would definitely recommend them. Now I will need to purchase more for the remaining stairs.

How to make your stairs secure to walk on.

These are great. They are just like the heavy coating you see on cement stairs in many buildings and businesses. I hope to have a slip free winter on my front porch. The look great too... Very reasonably priced for the 5 piece treads.

These treads are very thick and durable. I needed new basement stair treads because the old ones were felling apart, they were also rubber but they were no where near the thickness and quality of these. I scraped off the rest of the old treads, sanded and cleaned the steps, then used construction adhesive to place the new treads. I like the look and feel these will last a long time.

These came today and they came very fast and were very well packaged. I put them right down on our stairs. They will make a huge difference in the winter with the non slip and the ease of removing snow if it does this year. The only drawback for me is the rip Uber smell but I took them right outside so that issue was nothing. They look just like the picture. Very nice product.
