This luminates nicely. It should be taken in during the severe rain storms as it will fill up with water. Then battery is effected. Other than that very nice look! Just like a real candle.

Work as described
These lanterns need to be turned on in order to sit in the sun and recharge. Makes no sense to me because I would think that they were turned on it will continue to drain what power they have gained. Also if it's going to rain, you better bring those inside. The seal has already pulled away on one of them and they mold on the inside. Otherwise once they are lit they put off a pretty decent light. Not enough to read a book but it's a dim warm light. I only recommend as long as you file my guidelines and don't leave them outside in the rain.
QVC failure
This is the worst product I have ever bought from QVC! Came with two panes broken. Did not want to go thru hassle of returning (my mistake). Very lightweight and falls over easily. Is now cracked, top fell off. Putting in trash after having a little over a month. What a waste of money.

Bought this to put on a shepards hook in front yard and it looks very nice.
Not Worth It
Bought a pair for the entrance to my front door. Worked fine for about 2 months, then one of the lights would not turn on or off when supposed to. Put new battery in, but light would stay on all the time, not going off during the day. Ended up taking them back to Home Depot where I bought them for a refund since they were currently on back order with no projected date of delivery.
Very realistic
These look great in my garden. So far, they've held up well to the weather. They don't give off a whole lot of light. I would compare them to a low low flame candle.
