I would buy this light again

Put this light up in my barn that has no power ran to it. It lights the entire open area of the barn well for walking around.

It's OK for the short time in use.

It's nice, but it doesn't stay on all night , no matter how much sun it exposed to... I'm not satisfied with the performance, like security lights should

what it does, it does very well

i’m using this solar light in my vegi garden and the spectrum of light is on the cold side. i thought it would be more pleasant but was worth checking out. i love the idea and it does make watering after dark easier.

Dim light

This solar flood light is a great disappointment. It barely puts out any visible light whatsoever and only lsts a few hours at best. To call itva FLOOD LIGHT is false advertising. Night light would a better dscription, that is if you appreciate dim night lights.

Solar "floodlights" don't flood your with light

I bought two of these lights for the back yard hoping that they would be enough light to shine on my horeshoe pits, but they really don't put out much light at all. I would hardly call them floodlights. They are mounted on the side of my shed and get full sun at least 14 hours a day, but even when fully charged they do not shine brightly. They barely provide enough light over the food table when I have guests over for a bonfire.

Solar Flood Light

We only have one suggestion for this product. We are using it to provide light for our gift shop sign and needed to place the light in the ground to shine light on the sign which is approx. 4 feet above the ground. It would be helpful to have the option to do so with stakes to hold the flood light. We had to improvise by using other materials.

Light works but not so great for chicken coop

First off, the light works and I haven't had any trouble with it thus far (I've only had it a couple months). I bought it to use in my chicken coop, to add light during the shorter days. For that purpose, it's not so great (through no fault of the light itself). It's not bright enough for that purpose. And, because I have to mount the light itself so far inside the building (the sensor is on the light itself), it gets dark enough inside the building so that the light turns on while it's still daylight outside. On overcast days the light may turn on at 3 pm, so it runs out of power and shuts off really early.

Unfortunately, the two units we purchased to illuminate both sides of the 4' X 8' town hall sign are not powerful enough, even at full charge. No faults to Wayfair, as we should have known better. We will be looking for 2 more powerful Solar Dusk-Dawn LED lighting system capable of doing this.

Bright and works great.

We have actually ended up buying 3 of these lights and have used them for a year now. In the summer they work all night long. In the winter they work well if we have sunlight but on the dreary rainy or cloudy days they do not last but an hour or so. They are bright and we are well pleased with them.

This was not waterproof so when used to light sign, water would accumulate in body. Even after the 3 days of precharge would only get 3 -4 hours of light at 1/2 power(trouble shooting-solar panels facing south for optimum light, ensured connections were tight, did test activation) .When I changed batteries( had checked connections and did test as instructed) it worked properly for 2days then batteries wouldn't work. They just ran out of power.

excellent solar lights

Gives a moonlight type light from dusk to dawn - the whole night. I wanted just enough light to be able to see around the outside of the house without switching on floodlights. This gives just enough glow and lights up a large area that is wide and high. I have one pointed at my chimney. Lights up the whole thing. Plan to buy more.

Immediate overnight delivery! Also features on-off, bright-dim switch.

Good product, however, it significantly is larger and bulkier than a smaller 30 led solar flood costing a third less. Still, it should work quite well for lighting a 4'x 8' sign. very impressive immediate overnight delivery!

lights for longer only at low power

this light does work but the scope of light is very low. to light for the advertised 10 hour period this must be on low. live in the shothwest area of country where sunlight is long and plentiful but this light does not give floodlight quality. it is OK for "night light" quality but not high lighting as implied.

I have searched many solar lights for my 6 acre residence, many which claim to hold the solar charge and fail, many to claim abundant light and fail. This solar flood light efficiently holds a charge most sunny days lasting that entire night. The light is abundant! I am ordering 4 more.

there products work great!!!!

I have been a fan of hayneedle for some time - I moved and my backyard is full of their stuff; from a bridge, to a fountain, fire pits and solar lights - after a month one of my main solar back yard lights went out - their customer service was great and fixed the issue - service after the sale of great products!

Not ever so bright

My thoughts after reading so many good reviews was it gave off some great light. Well it gives off a somewhat dim light, thats even after you hit the "bright" switch. The actual small spot lights that I bought that was much cheaper gives off more light than this flood light. Now it has around 7 hours of continual sunlight and may last about 4 hours which isnt to impressive.
