The most useful cup in the cupboard!

These are now at a lower price, making them a good 14-oz cup for any time of day. Using it in the early morning helps one get set for work. It's sturdy yet light, double stainless steel-walled, and dishwasher-safe. A solid cup for cold or hot drinks! The handle should fit most hand sizes.

I bought this because I was tired of having to reheat my coffee in my regular coffee mug. I'm usually busy multi tasking in the am. This works great and keeps my coffee hot all morning. It can handle a regular and XL size coffee plus creamer from my Ninja Hot/Cold Brew. Only grip would be the cover slot that closes doesn't exactly seal the best. It's essentially good for a quick tip for a few seconds but don't expect it to be fully drip proof.

TIPS over easily - Design flaw

Design flaw this is literally a “TUMBLER” not a mug. It will tip and tumble on you at the slightest mis-movement or if placed on a slightly uneven or angled surface. The bottom edges are rounded and there is underneath a silicone rubber disc (to supposedly prevent slipping) that is about 1/2 inches smaller in circumstance than the cup. That disk protrudes ever so slightly leaving the cup balancing on that small disk. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know what all that means. And you can trust me as it happened right away—the cup tumbled leaving a mess. There is a wider lower half intended for stability and balance but it is not wide enough for this cup snd fails to stabilize the cup given the rounded bottom edge and the little rubber disk the cup sits on. I went looking for a similar cup branded “TAL” that was supposed to be in stock but could not find it so I got this. It’s a beatific cup and well made but as said there is this major design flaw. I do have another “TAL” brand cup I keep at work and it does not tumble. This is a travel mug and so despite a well made cover you do not want to chance a spill. So unfortunately I do not recommend this and advise you try another. If you get this be very careful to know this needs special care not to knock it over especially when pouring hot water into it.

I love Contigo. It's way more affordable than other cups that do exactly the same thing. I love the colour and that it has a handle. Was thankfully, left right in the front of my door, which I appreciate a lot. It was much easier to find than my other delivered product I bought. Will be using for loads of tea and some coffee. Brilliant.

Perfectly hot!

This is the cup I've been searching for! It actually keeps your coffee hot all morning. I left it closed one day for over an hour and a half and when I came back it was piping hot like when I first made it. Normally I will fill a mug with boiling water first to prime it with heat. It's not necessary with this mug. It keeps your coffee perfectly hot all morning!

i liketh contigo brand I usually buy the leak proof or spill proof coffee mug the one with a lock .

Highly recommended desk mug

The mug is just the right size. It sits a lot better on the desk due to its bottom-heavy design compared to my other, taller mug (I used to spill my tea accidentally after hitting the tall mug. Not any more with this one).

[Rewarded Review] I am a huge fan of Contigo but…

This cup is cute and made with quality materials, but…. It doesn’t stand up to the Contigo standard of keeping beverages warm for extended periods of time, it doesn’t seal. The lid is just barely ok. When you take a sip and slide the lid closed you get splashed which would probably burn but since the cup doesn’t keep anything hot you just end up with a stain on your clothes and having to wipe your face or clean your glasses. Contigo can do better than this.

Wal-Mart will ship HAND WASH version!

Explicitly says dishwasher safe in the description several times and on the Contigo website. When it arrived nothing on the packaging or on the bottom of the mug indicated dishwasher safe just "easy to clean" and on the bottom the logo (glass fork) only indicates that it's food safe! Wal-Mart is selling a different/older version and I am annoyed I have to go to the trouble of returning this mug to get my money back even though it's a functionally different item. Don't buy on Wal-Mart.com--maybe only in-person? Looks otherwise useful but annoyed I either have to eat the cost or spend my time/money on a return :(

They’re very perfect coffee made for me

This mug has made my life so much easier. Last year I was buying numerous different heating pads for my coffee cap and finally gave up and just realized that I was doomed to always have cold coffee. I like this mug so much that I sent two of them to my daughter out of state. They are the best.

Lightweight. Good design. Keeps coffee hot for an hour (w/o lid) or more (w/lid). Sturdy. Stable. Holds a lot. Does not get hot on the outside. Non- tip rubber bottom. Feels good in my hand. Just what I have been looking for.

keeps drinks hot but spills alot

if this cup did not spill when tipped it would be a great cup but that is not the case. I bought this cup so I could put it in my lunch box to bring to work but that went out the window when I spilled my drink many times in my lunch box. The seal of the lid is not good %26 would be better if it screwed on or something. also after putting it in the dishwasher the paint has started to chip off.

Keeps drinks hot!!

My wife and I just can't believe how long these cups keep our coffee hot in the morning, Well, I put it to the real test today, she made me a cup of coffee and I and I filled my cup to the mark (12oz. leaves about an inch from the lid-line inside) then took a shower, fed the birds, tended to the dog (around one hour ). When I came back, Coffee was still hot.

Failed miserably.

I like everything about this mug EXCEPT it does not keep hot beverages hot! The color is beautiful, the size is perfect, the handle gives me the confidence to drink steaming hot beverages with my arthritic hands and the no skid bottom keeps it in one place. The only drawback is my coffee is lukewarm after 30 minutes and stone cold in an hour. Very disappointing after using a better mug for the past 4 years.

Only thing I don't like are the new self. Checkout lines you can't tell which ones take credit cards. And which ones do not some only take cash. Please put stickers on the big green LED lights above the self. Checkout lanes like a C for cash. A CC for credit card and so on so that you can look at them from a distance and see which lanes are for what kind of currency..

Great for hot coffee!

This cup is very light weight and has a wonderful rubber pad on the bottom. The pad keeps it from sliding off the car hood etc. when I set it on uneven places. The lid is easy to use and hasn't leaked. I love walking in the mornings and now my coffee stays hot, as I stop to pick up branches, doesn't slide off the propane tank,and bits of debris just land on the top easily brushed away. The dog is puzzled by the sound of coffee hitting the bottom of the cup as it fills..lol. The inside hasnt shown any sign of stains either! Perfect cup for inside or out. The handle prevents it from sitting in the car cup holder, though its not an issue for me.

Worth the investment. You get what you pay for!

Keeping the tab closed on the lid is the secret to prolonged 'hot' coffee. I liked the slightly wider base with the rubber mat underneath. I also liked that it was easy to clean. I most especially like having a lid the prevents accidental spills when moving from one room to the next.

LOVE THIS CONTIGO MUG!

This CONTIGO MUG is the perfect size for a hot drink that you want to stay hot for hours! I drink herb teas, Postum, or hot chocolate. This mug hold 14 oz. and stays hot for hous! i sometimes have to leave the lid off for a little while so my drink will cool off a bit faster. I could put an ice cube in my drink but I think it will cool off too fast then. Maybe not. I love the lid! So far it lives up to it's "spill proof-lid" claim! No accidents. It did get knocked over sideways once but the lid stayed on and nothing leaked! This mug is so easy to clean! i just wash it out by hand everytime I'm done with my drink. Just a drop of liquid dish soap and hot water does it! and the lid washes just as easy. I want to order the blue one next. The colors in the pictures are very true to the real color. I live the "Pine Berry" color. i have seen the blue one in the store and it is also very true to the advertised color.

Sturdy little cup I'll use for many years

I usually don't like a pop on lid. I have a tall Contigo with a screw on lid and solid mechanism for the drink hole. I've carried with me all over. It's been dented and scraped up but I cherish it and still use it if I need a spill proof mug when I go out. It's almost 10 years old. I just wanted a covered cup for my bedside so I was hoping the Contigo brand would pull through this time as well. The wider bottom and slide cover work perfect for this. The grip is tight when the lid snaps in as well. Contigo did not disappoint yet again. The blue one is a pretty slightly metallic medium shade.

Came with many dents and dings!
