Missing Parts, Poor Customer Service

I purchased the ALEKO Driveway Gate over a month ago, and I’m still waiting for the issue to be resolved. The gate arrived missing essential parts, including installation hardware. The instructions were also vague and unhelpful, making the assembly difficult.. They provided no help in getting the missing parts. Reached out to Home Depot hoping they could assist, after a month I’m still waiting for the missing parts and a resolution. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience.

My gate is beautiful! Really makes my property look upscale.

Security

With young kids around, having a secure gate was a priority. This Aleko combo set delivers. The gates feel very strong, and the pedestrian gate makes it easy for them to come and go safely. We feel much better knowing they can't wander off the property.

The gate itself is fantastic

Love the design and how easy it is to swing open. However, the delivery process was a bit of a nightmare. The box arrived with some dents, but luckily the gate wasn't damaged. Just a suggestion for Aleko - improve the packaging!

My dog is a notorious escape artist, but this gate has been a lifesaver! He can't squeeze through the pedestrian gate, and the entire set feels very solid. Plus, the powder coating seems weatherproof - no rust so far, even with all the spring showers.

This gate set is exactly what we were looking for

Stylish, secure, and functional. But the biggest surprise was how much curb appeal it added to our house! Neighbors have even complimented us on it.

We have a pool in our backyard and this gate has been a lifesaver! It keeps our curious toddler from wandering out and taking a dip. Plus, it looks so much nicer than the cheap plastic fence we had before. So happy we found this!

The gate itself seems great. Solid construction and looks sharp. However, be aware that it doesn't come with any of the hardware you need to install it. Posts, hinges, latch, all that stuff needs to be purchased separately. Just something to keep in mind when you're budgeting for this project."

Worth the Investment

This gate was definitely an investment, but it's one I don't regret. The quality is amazing, and it looks absolutely stunning. It's added so much value to my property, not to mention the peace of mind from the extra security. So impressed!

Well-made and looks fantastic

I especially like that the paint seems really durable - no scratches so far, even though my kids love to swing on it (of course!). Installing it myself was a bit of a challenge, but I managed. If you're not handy, I'd recommend hiring someone to put it in.

Has worked out great!

We've had this gate for over a year now. The husband's a handy grew-up-on-a-farm type guy and he installed no problem. Added a couple panels of fence from Lowes on either side to fit the opening how we wanted (it matches Lowes fencing panels flawlessly). The gate has held up to kids swinging on it, a super cold and wet winter and blazing hot summer - finish still looks perfect. It saved us a lot of money and looks great - get a lot of compliments on it. It was missing a pair of hinges when it came, but after a call to let seller know the missing hinges were rush delivered. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I wasn't sure if I could install this gate myself, but I gave it a shot. The instructions were actually pretty good, and I got it done in an afternoon. Feels great to accomplish something like that myself! Plus, the gate looks amazing.

I love the look of this gate!

Installation wasn't too bad, but it would have been helpful to have a second set of hands for some parts. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the gate seems to swing a little unevenly sometimes. I'm going to tinker with the hinges and see if I can adjust it.

Nice gate but a big job

I had the gate installed by fencing contractor. He was the 4th person to come out. The 3 previous turned down the job saying the post would never hold the weight of the gate. They all did agree it was a quality gate for the price and that they could not order one similar for the price.
