Flimsy

I was pretty surprised at the cheapness of this arbor trellis. I painted it before assembling because I’ve learned these metal structures will rust within weeks otherwise. I really wish I hadn’t done that because when I set it up, I laughed. My messy paint job is the only redeeming quality. I had a thought, well I only paid $45 for it and then I checked back and saw I paid about double that. Still the adage stands, you get what you pay for.

My Wisteria is as happy as she could be with the space she has to grow. 😍

Cool garden arch

This arbor is a piece of junk. It was fairly unsteady right after assembly. 2 months in and it’s collapsing under the weight of our grape vines. I’ve now ordered a new one made of cedar. Sadly I can’t even give this thing away.

I'm editing my review. I loved the arch at first, and it is super cute. However, it's only been outside about a month and all the joints and screw holes are rusted.

this is a very cheap product. even after assembling it it is so wobbly and crooked you can't tighten anything anymore than it already is definitely going to return this garbage don't waste your money

Very disappointed

On screen tbis item looks grest but the design fails. Once assembled you can see that the design does not support the item on either side when upright.

It is the icing on the cake. It looks great. We are so very happy with it. Came quickly, 10 year old grandson, Oliver put it together and set it up. Packaged well.

I loved the shape of this trellis, but when we put it together it was flemsy and needed reinforcing to stand upright. The two-footed trellises in the store were much sturdier.

For indoors, can saw some inches off legs, reinsert plastic leg pads. Also, can smear gorilla glue over insert joints to reduce any “wobble”. Trellis accents any other wrought iron decor! Will buy 4!

The arbor was not sturdy. I had to put on brackets on each side to stabilize it. Maybe in the future you could make the arbor with fitted brackets already drilled.

Arbor is rather flimsy and there is no way to anchor it into the ground. I used tent stakes and then tied the arbor to the stakes at each corner. The arbor does not remain plumb when anchored in this way, and I am not sure how it will fare during a Maine Winter. It would be better if the arbor had spiked legs.

Easy to assemble and sturdy

Easy to assemble and sturdy enough to withstand some strong winds we recently have. I am interested to see how it stands up through the winter, but so far I am happy with the purchase. We placed it in the backyard near a Wisteria tree that is learning to climb over and around as we hoped for.

This is very sturdy and so attractive! We’re using this as a trellis for snap peas and cucumbers.
