We bought 2 pendant lights at 1 store because thats...

We bought 2 pendant lights at 1 store because thats all they had, then bought one more from another store. When we got home and opened them the glass wasn't the same...1 was clear glass but slightly tinted, and the other one was fogged, not clear. One of them had a chip in it but by the time we noticed, we had already shortened the cord to the length we desired. Frustrating that identical packaging and skew# had products that werent the identical.

I did a lot of research to decide what I wanted, and compared prices. Great quality and a great price. Comes with at least 6 of wire so you hang almost anywhere.

This pendant is nice if you only need one. If you need more than one and want them to match, good luck. They were all different shades ranging from clear to smoky (blackish tint) to cloudy (whitish tint).

Nice fixture but not what I expected

I loved the idea of this light and assumed it was going to be clear glass like so many others have said (now that I am reading reviews after the fact!). The installation was straight forward and not too tricky aside from I needed mine to be a little bit shorter and the cord is so long that there was too much of it to coil inside the cover as the cord is very thick, so I did have to cut it--but not too difficult. The glass has a smoky look and does look dusty. I wish I would've read these and scoured the glass prior to installing so it could be the clear glass....may still try that later. But other than that I love the light!!

The only problem we ran into was trying to find pendants that were similar. We had to run to different Home Depots to get 3 pendants that were somewhat similar. One looked like glass and 2 had a white glaze inside the glass that would not wipe off so they looked like plastic, the textures were different as well. One stood out and the others looked somewhat flat with a little texture. We had one that was perfect and could not find another that matched so we just picked out 2 that were close to it. It is noticeable in the daytime but at night when the lights are on its not. I would recommend but just be ready to spend some time to look for others that match or are close to one another. At night they look good with the antique bulb that dims.
