Wonderful Wall Plate

I cant say enough about this beautiful white cover plate. The Screw holes were in just the right places and the two rectangular openings for the switches were just the right size, not too small not too large, just right. The symmetry is simply stunning. I couldn't be happier with this selection.

The wall plate itself is fine, but the glossiness of it's finish varies from another plate that I bought from HD (online) at the same time (it was a Decora single-gang receptacle cover plate). It's also made by Leviton. HD does not provide the specs on "sheen" in their product description, maybe because the manufacturer doesn't provide them. HD or Leviton may not consider it to be an important spec, but indeed it is if you want these trim pieces to match across your space. It's a low-cost item, but frustrating none-the-less. For the record, I had hoped to purchase the plates I needed in the store to avoid this issue, but they (as well as other hardware stores) are not carrying a wide array of brown wall plates.

The plate is fine. My only disappointment is that I searched for all plates by this maker in brown. Of all the plates I've purchased in the past 2 months, this is the only one that is a matte finish vs. a shiny finish. I love the color!
