I was hoping for something that would sit comfortably on the edge of my desk for my various electronic devices. But, wow. This thing is clunky. You can't put it on any vertical part of a desk, as its weight (even without anything plugged into it) drags it down the side of whatever you attempted to clamp it to. The clamp is not very strong. Basically, it has to be set up on something horizontal, where you won't bump it and knock it off the edge. It also takes up a LOT of desk space! So much so that my wife refuses to use hers. I still haven't figured out what to do with that second one . . . It does what it's supposed to. It's a good value for the money as an extension cord alternative. But unless you have a good out-of-the-way place on your desk to place it (with about 4 inches of clearance for it to "hook" onto) this is not the helpful alternative you are looking for.

This is exactly what I needed for my standing desk at work. I have three monitors and a docking station that needed to be plugged in, but I didn't have a convenient plug available. Everything had to be plugged into a flat surge protector and I had to put it on the desk because the power cords were too short to have everything on the floor under the desk. So, needless to say, my desk was a mess with power cords and a surge protector cluttering everything up. But this thing saved me! I put it over the back edge of my desk, snaked the cords under the desk, plugged everything in, and, voila! A clear desk and a couple of bonus USB plugs for my chargers! The clip on the inside keeps it from moving back and forth and falling off the edge. Definitely recommend!

I use this on my stand-up desktop and I love it! I’ve had to tape it in place as the spring-loaded tensioner was not stout enough for the thinner MDF shelf, but indispensable. I’m able to connect everything I need to without extension cords. Great idea realized!

Works great as a cable management solution as well because of its shape. Just back it our a little and thread the cables/cords through the space then push it back in. Clip holding to the desk is strong. And you cannot go wrong with an APC product which IMHO are pretty solid and good products. Very handy and best little surge protector I have found. Not sure how long the spring in this will last and keep everything together but we'll see.

The performance has been very good overall and I have no gripes on the quality of the product. However, as interesting as the product sounded in my head for home office setup, I was left a little disappointed in the versatility of the product. Plan A) Attach to the desk: I use a vintage desk which I love but being a true furniture piece, the desk was too thick for the power station. Plan B) Attach to the monitor stand...well it can go there, however, I lose access to 1 side of the plugs (-3 of the plugs) and became a jumbled mess. It wasn't designed to work attached to a monitor stand or sitting sideways. The ideal setup for the power station is to stand straight up attaching to either a thin "Ikea like" desk or sitting on top of a desk as I have now. Since it sits on my desk, I didn't want it to be an eyesore and have easy access to the charging ports for my accessories. This is where my gripe comes in. The design is flawed due to the short length of the power cord. It is way too short to reach my wall outlet. The power cord is only 6feet which wouldn't be a problem normally if it sat on the ground. However, sitting or attaching to an elevated space, it doesn't account for 2 1/2 ft of vertical distance the power station needs to extend to. The power cord designed with 6 feet was a very poor decision and further hinders the design and intent of the product. Unless the wall outlet is within 3 ft of where you intend to set this up, then be careful with this buy.

Great product! I was a bit skeptical in getting this product because there were no reviews for the U-shaped 6 outlet... so here you go. :) I got mine in Black and I charge my computer, my phone, Bluetooth headphones, desk lamp, etc. USB ports and everything works great. The cord is 6ft long. Clamped on my desk it’s a bit easy to move around but it won’t fall off, so don’t worry about that. It’s a really great product, I haven’t had any issues.

Charging my MacBook Pro via the USB-C port does not charge my computer! Computer makes the noise like it's charging, the battery status in the upper right part of the computer menu shows that it's charging... but, in fact, it does not charge my computer. This would be my second unit from them so I feel pretty confident that this isn't just one-off. I was disappointed after getting the second unit to see my computer's battery percentage actually go the wrong way, despite the indicator showing that my computer is charging. Plugging in the 3 pronged wall charger to the unit and charging my computer that way works... so I know it's not my computer. The USB-C, however, leaves a lot to be desired (just straight up doesn't work). Oh well! I can manage with plugging in the wall adapter... Just, buyer beware!
