Very easy to assemble but obviously cheaply made. The metal looks dirtyspotty despite cleaning. BEWARE disassembling this item is FAR more difficult than assembling. I needed an additional person, a YouTube video, as well as a rubber mallet to get these chairs apart just to return them.
I am so happy with my purchase. The barstools are elegant and very comfortable. Arrived in just a few days. The easiest assembly on anything I have put together, simple with just three pieces to put together.
