This is the color I decided upon! Aqua! True color through and through and easy to install. Great product, excellent customer service, and fast delivery! Product looks great in the bathroom! This company is excellent! Highly recommend!
Happy customers
I am recommending this product to friends.
Great eco flooring
I put this in my bathroom and it looks great. Had them professionally installed, they go together so seamlessly you can’t even tell they are separate tiles. They don’t smell, repel water and feel great underfoot, with some cushioning from the cork. They shipped fine and nothing was broken out of 18 boxes.
This is my second purchase of this flooring. It looks seamless and installation is easy. I'm hypersensitive to chemical smells, it's such a plus that this floor has no harsh odor and requires no stinky glues! It's easy to clean and a truly lovely. So worth the money!
10 years in and it's holding up great
We installed this floor in our kitchen 10 years ago. It is holding up amazingly well. About a year ago we got a cat whose favorite game is to scramble across the floor wyle e coyote style and then slide, all with claws out. The hardwoods in the living room have taken a beating, but the marmoleum in the kitchen shows no marks from this game at all. It's got some signs of age, don't get me wrong, but I cannot believe how sturdy it is in this context.
New Studio Flooring
I just installed the Click Chinch Loc Seal - in volcanic ash - in my new studio space. The space is 253 sq feet and we were able to put it down in under half a day. While yes, we have some experience putting flooring down in our home (mostly hardwood and engineered hardwood) this was a super easy install. We watched the video before beginning but otherwise it was a breeze. The panels feel substantial and clicked together pretty easily. I will say that the tongues of the panels are more easily damaged so care needs to be taken when moving them around and one box arrived with the entire end busted. Thankfully we just pulled from this box to start our new rows and were able to salvage the whole box.
Love Marmoleum
We tore out an older floor of Marmoleum tiles, which we got at the Custer Energy Fair about 23 years ago. We had a water leak, which damaged some of the tiles. Rather than replace the damaged tiles, I chose to get sheet flooring, so there would be no seams at the front of the toilet. I love the color I chose, it looks nicer with our wood bathroom cabinets than the previous varied tile colors, and other than where we had the water leak, the tiles held up beautifully over time. So no vinyl for us, which is the only choice the local places sell!
Great product
We installed Marmoleum click in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room of our cabin. It looks great and stood up well to minor flooding in our laundry room. The only negatives are that there aren't any true whites. We used Barbados and Black in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is great, colors work with old natural pine walls. The bathroom is painted and finding a compatible color is a little more challenging.
Best Flooring Ever—at least so far
I was looking for flooring to replace/cover my hardwood floors that had been damaged when burst pipes in the condo next door resulted in my first floor being flooded. I wanted something easier to care for, and something that was a little unusual too. And I was tired of hardwood. Researching linoleum/luxury tile on line led me to Marmoleum and I couldn't be happier that I found out about it. Selecting the color/pattern took some time, but my eventual choice, Donkey Island (I know, a strange name) checked all of the boxes. It is a warm, subtle pattern with just the right mixture of colors that lets it take a back seat to area rugs and furniture and changes as the sunlight changes during the day. I'm anxious to see how it feels underfoot this winter, as right now, in the heat of summer, it feels fantastic when walking on it in bare feet. The cork backing gives just a hint of bounce. I give a lot of credit to the professional installers who completed this job in less than two days. I would opt for professional installation when I see what they did—it's worth it—well, I'm DIY useless. I will be interested to see how it wears, and I will admit I am babying the floor right now, with inside shoes and outside shoes, but it certainly looks like a durable, wearable flooring. Two friends who have seen my floors have met with the flooring company to have Marmoleum installed in their homes. This product sells itself. Not much more to add is there?
Your product has given my kitchen and myself a great smile! It is quiet, silent and feels like walking on clouds! The color that I picked is what has added a broader smile to the whole project! The initial nervousness that accompany a do it yourselves, was lessen by your staff, holding my hands from the start to the finish. And even the company doing the delivery was awesome. Very, very satisfied with FORBO and Green Buildings Supply. Thank you guys!!! Needless to say give these floors try and smile as I am!
DIY dream! Safe for family and looks $$$!
This is our second floor using Forbo’s Cinch Loc planks. First one still looks great after almost 7 years- and we have 2 kids and a large dog. The install is absurdly easy, cinch in one and just move to the next. Mess up your pattern? No problem, simply take it apart and redo it. Cuts easy with a jigsaw for the edges against the wall too. There IS a sweet spot when cinching them together. When you’re laying down your piece, don’t force it down. If you’ve got it right it’ll almost pull in and set itself right in the perfect spot. Seamless and satisfying when you get the groove down. We laid the recent floor ourselves and actually had fun doing it because it was so nice (and easy) to feel so successful- haha, even with kids and a dog thwarting our progress, and in such a short amount of time! Recommend so highly, especially for DIYers with no experience that want a toxic free home for their peeps :) Order samples first as the colors will be a little different straight out the box (slight yellow tinge BUT it fades within a day or two depending on how much sun the area gets). We’re crazy smell sensitive and this was no biggie at all- did have a smell but not a chemical ahhh! one, nor did it induce any headaches or nausea. It was gone in maybe 2/3 days max?? That’s about it! You can do this project. Go for it because it’s easy, looks so good, and best of all is safe for your family. Oh and does have a prop but that’s only applicable when cutting. Once cutting part is finished it’s all good and supposedly has no long term off gassing, phthalates, and all that ewe!
Galley Kitchen Install | 1957 Mid-Century Apartment Building
I'm very satisfied with my Marmoleum floor. The color and sheen are exactly as expected. Everything went smoothly from the order to delivery through installation. Even though it was a small area, it was a busy layout and I wanted to do a one-piece, seamless install, So using poster board, I made a template and cut (it) exactly to the layout. Very satisfied with the ease of install. I'd absolutely recommend Marmoleum. I'm looking forward to many years of service. I couldn't have done it without my great partner: Green Building Supply!
Awesome product, easy if you dont have complicated room
I finally finished with my kitchen install. I love this product. We did a checker theme in our 100 yr old craftsman and it looks so awesome. I used quiet walk plus from GBS and that was great too.
Best Flooring Ever!!
It’s been a year and a half since we’ve had the floors installed and are loving them. Holding up well to wear, pets and cleaning. We were worried about water damage with the click style flooring, but the quality is fantastic. We had an over-watered plant which left a puddle on the floor overnight. It was across multiple joints and we did not see any warpage or damage. We did the install ourselves and it was so easy. Make sure your subfloor is flat and follow the recommendations in the installation manual. Our concrete slab was really bad so I spent a lot of time leveling that. The actual plank installation was a breeze. I also recommend the recycled underlayment.
Scratches and discoloration-within a few months do not buy.
I purchased the forbo marmoleum click-lock because I wanted to do something nice for the planet, and I liked the look of it. It was easy to install, and looked really great. However, within two months, there were scratches from chairs moving across the floor and pets walking. There was also some discoloration. When I contacted the company, they said I should put something on the bottom of my furniture so as not to get scratches and that the discoloration is natural. But I don't think I did anything out of the ordinary to cause the scratches, and I don't have the time to patrol my every move and my pets every move to prevent further scratching. I had purchased some extra for a bathroom, but I don't plan to use that given how easily it scratches and discolors. I asked the company if they would take back my unused and unopened boxes and they said no (been longer than 30 days) and that I should sell it on craigslist. Given my displeasure with the product, I think they should at least let me return the unused boxes, as I could have recouped some of this money. I do not feel comfortable selling this product to anyone. I do not recommend this product, particularly a high-traffic area such as a kitchen. This is too much to pay for a product that only will probably last a few years. I do not make a lot of money, and plan to start saving now to replace this. I do not recommend this product, and am not entirely happy with the company's response. My friend has the non-click lock version and it seems to be more durable and less-scratch prone.
Even better than I'd anticipated
I oversaw the renovation of a small NYC apartment for my very elderly parents, who now live in a house they can't fully get around. My Mom was intent on an off-white kitchen floor with faint pattern that would disguise dirt, which is what she's had for 60-some years in her house. I'd recently installed a FORBO floor in an apartment I now live in and have loved it every day: It's mostly black with asymmetrically arranged compound squares of blue and then yellow marmoleum. It looks beautiful with my natural wood cabinets. My parents' kitchen is bright white, which they wanted; the counter is black; and the floor is the off-white my mom wanted with a sprinkling of the same "Blue" tiles I have in my kitchen. It's gorgeous. Also wonderful under-foot. Contractors were new to FORBO, but loved the colors and pattern and found it easy to install. The floor is the first thing people comment on when they see the place. The only hitch with FORBO is that you have to buy a whole box of tiles, even if you're using only ten or 12 of a color. Other than that, I love everything about FORBO. (This floor was also Marmoleum.)
