Even though this item is just plastic it does not easily cut. Perfect for when you exchange lighting and your new light is smaller than what you had before and youre left with an unsightly ring on the ceiling. This medallion covers that, as well as gives charm to that space. Also, I liked that it came painted and I could choose the color!

I have been looking for a ceiling medallion door to door locally with just no luck, so I looked at my Walmart on line and there it was.

Looks good at a distance

is going to require more ?finishing? to meet its full potential, warped a bit with the pressure of the mounting hardware.Perfect balance of traditional and modern.

Recessed lite covering worked great with fan kit to support fixtures.

Worked well covered old recessed lite.

Came out beautiful! You can’t tell how stark the white is from pictures. Better priced then I’ve found elsewhere also.

Just know what you're getting for the money.

The design is nice, but I was surprised that it was hollow plastic and not a solid molded foam. This was very inexpensive and this is the reason I suppose. It will look fine once installed and painted.

Thicker than anticipated

The plastic is thicker than I thought it would be. I cut a slit in mine because I did not want to remove my ceiling fan to install it. Its very simple, but cleans up how my ceiling fan looks.

Looks nice if you can live with a small ceiling gap

Quality of the finish is very good. Should have molded it with the mounting surface set back a little from the perimeter. After mounting, about one-third of the outer edge was up to 1/8 inch away from the ceiling. And the ceiling is flat. Don't really notice it unless you look for it.

Great product

Needed something to cover a existing hole when replacing a chandelier. I painted it to match the color I needed (used a spray for plastic products) and it looks like a painted plaster medallion - not plastic. Very happy with this purchase

Very light weight plastic, for looks only, has no structural integrity. Can be glued but I found the ceiling fan held in place just fine.

Very Thin Plastic.

Thought these we?re going to be a bit more substantial. They?re very thin plastic. But I liked the design so I kept them. Won?t be ordering anymore.

Don't bother. It's flimsy, plastic like, flexible. Came with no instructions whatsoever. Waaaaay overpriced item. Very very very disappointed. I expected a pottery type material. Only about a half inch rim could be flush against the ceiling, the rest is hollow.
