High quality, comfy laying with pillow!

Strong frame, a little heavier than most beach chairs we had. Having the pillow for my head whoa! I have not test it using my belly and read book underneath. Overall very comfy laying and getting sun tan!

Not Rust Proof

Comfortable chairs, decent quality… but definitely NOT rust proof as stated. After the first use, we rinsed them to get the sand off, and there was immediately rust pouring from the screws and staining the fabric of the seats.

Beach chair is not worth the cost!! Do not buy!!!

1st day of using this chair it’s arms broke plastic is junk, it sits great but will not stay ion one place. It is not worth the money it was will be trying to return it.

Initial Thoughts on Ostrich Face Down Beach Chair w/ Backpack Straps

My initial thoughts on this chair is that it has some good features, including the ability to lie down on your belly and read or view your phone. It is top-heavy because the bulk of the chair is at the top. When you go to pull the arms up to change positions, the weight of the top half catches you off guard. The chair is bulky to carry, so the backpack straps are a huge plus. Without them, the chair would be too bulky for me to carry to the beach (I am 5'1" tall). I am hoping the features of being able to lie down flat while reading will compensate for the bulk of the chair. It seems sturdy.

Best beach chairs

These beach chairs are so comfortable and I love that they are wider than most beach chairs that I have owned. Very sturdy and easy to set up. Only wish they were a bit lighter for carrying down to the beach.

Great brand

I have other Ostrich deluxe lounge chairs and really like them so I bought these beach chairs. I like that they do not have wood arms. I do wish they had another pocket on the side to put your phone/keys in. I would still recommend them though.

Ostrich face down chair

This is an excellent chair and does everything it says it will. It’s beautiful and looks exactly like the picture! I would have given it 5 stars but it sits lower to the ground than I thought. However, I should have reviewed the dementsions better. I think I should have gotten the deluxe.

ALMOST THERE.....

Could've been an awesome Beach Chair, my only issue is with the adjustability of the reclining positions, (i.e. all the way down is good or all the way up is good, no in between). Please note that I'm 230 and workout, someone of a lighter stature should be fine! The correction is simple use metal teeth instead of plastic, maybe adjust the cost of the chair for a bigger stature, seems how metal would cost more. Still love the design of the chair and it would be the greatest chair ever if able to adjust. Randy M. P.S. The recommendation below is for a smaller person, NO for a larger person.

DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS

I strongly recommend this product and I have to be honest, I haven't even used it at the beach yet but upon receiving it I tried it out at my home and actually fell asleep trying it out. The ability to lay on my stomach with my face through the whole provided and to put my arms through the holes provided made laying on my stomach very comfortable and the idea is GENIUS!! Before purchasing this chair, I watched the video which showed how you put your arms in the designated holes so you can still use your cellphone.....again GENIUS. Not too heavy to carry with the convenient strap provided.

PERFECT BEACH CHAIRS

I ordered these chairs for the wide seat and the extra weight capacity. I found them so comfortable and sturdy that I immediately ordered two more as gifts. They are excellent quality and wonderfully colorful. Now, let's talk comfort, they reclining position makes you want to nap. I would highly recommend.

Unique tanning chair!

Great beach chair! I love that you can lay face down and read comfortably because of the cutouts for your face and each arm! The face cutout has nice padding (almost like a massage table has) so very easy to fall asleep without neck hurting! The sitting position is also very comfortable and lays back two more positions! Drink holder is convenient too! Backpack straps make for easy carrying. My only complaint is the velcro straps to keep chair together in folded/carrying position doesn’t stay shut. Otherwise, great buy!

Great chair at a great price!

I ordered this chair because of the great reviews. The extra wide seat, various reclining positions, and backpack straps are wonderful. It worked will for my trip to the beach and I look forward to using it again and again! (I would have given it five stars but it did not have a cell phone holder or a storage pouch for small items.)

Slipping Straps

Chair itself is cute, comfy. The back pack straps if used the way they are sewn make the metal bar on the top of the chair go right through the middle of your back (not comfortable). Also the nylon straps slip out very easy because there is not a sewn over catch at the end (super cheap move). Going to have to go get that sewn now for extra money. All in all not bad but should have spent the extra $20 and gotten a Tommy Bahama

So Far, So Good...

The chairs are very spacious - wider than I thought they'd be, and wider than I need them to be, but they're fine. Mine came with no construction flaws (stitching, etc.). Not having a bar extend across the bottom of my thighs is a big plus too. Two things about them though:

Great...then horrible

I'm 6'7" tall so I was very happy when I got this chair and it fit me. Awesome head rest. Nice wide arm rests. Overall very comfortable. Then I tried to adjust it and the problems started. The adjustment pieces are plastic, bad design. You should be able to lift on arm rests, which unlocks your position, and then move it to another position...that wasn't the case with my chair. It stayed locked in one position until I literally ripped the arm rest off the chair trying to adjust it. The adjustment pieces should be metal or something for easier movement. I'm going to upgrade to the next model, which is $80 and has metal arm adjustments.

Cheap construction

This chair is made with cheap plastic under the arms that is supposed to hold the chair back in place. After only a few uses the plastic has failed and the back collapses when u lean against it. Attractive chair but terrible construction. The plastic buckle on 1 chair also broke.

Great chair

This is a very comfortable chair. The arm rests are plastic and wide at the forearms which makes them comfortable. There is no bar under the seat like most chairs have which makes the seat more comfortable than other chairs. The chair back is high which is perfect for me as I am 6'4". The chair is also wide giving me plenty of room and I don't feel cramped. I don't use it in the laying down position but it does lay pretty flat. I bought it in blue as red was $10 more and I could not justify higher cost for color. I bought my wife the lounge version from a competitor and she likes it so far. I've only used this chair durin. One week period and has held out but time will tell. The only negative would be that it does not fold up like the typical chairs that slide into bags but you can at least carry this one like a back pack.

Great chair at a great price!

Purchased these for a family trip to the beach this year... absolutely love them Not only were they lightweight and easy to carry via the back pack mode... they were comfortable as well!! My wife who likes to sun bathe used hers for the better part of 8 hours each day. She really enjoyed the different reclining positions that were available. The pillow was very comfy and it seems to hold up to wear and tear really well... we now have them sitting next to our pool 24 hours a day... and they have been there for several months and are doing great .. look forward to our annual trip to the beach next year.

Arrived quickly, but has some problems

One of the buckles for carrying on your back is broken, won't stay latched and found broken plastic pieces in the packaging. Seems like the bar comes right across your back, so not very comfortable to carry any distance. I like the design for lying on your stomach, and plan to return this for replacement one if my daughter likes it...putting it under the Christmas tree for her so she has something to open. FYI, when I went to review this prior to submitting, it has me listed as being from Omaha, NE. I am from west coast of FL, so I know my beach chairs! Won't let me change my location, though, what's up with that?
