Was very surprised by space and quality

I was shocked by the amount of space inside. I loved how the bottom was attached to the walls so no critters could get in and didn't have to super clean the truck bed out before using. We didnt use the rain fly and just had the windows cracked open and stayed dry when the morning dew fell. Only downfall is that you may need to use some foam pads at the entrance so when climbing in and out you dont hurt your knees but that could just be something we need to do. Loved the overhang for entry, but those stakes were hard to get right to make is stand up the rest was super easy to install.

This tent was not as advertised, due to the fact that the tent is too long for my 6 ft Bed truck.

Great tent. Be sure to check the size. Ordered a small one. Will be returning it for the correct size. Can't wait to use it!

Perfect short-bed setup!

Created a nice, spacious and airy sleep space in my short bed Ford!

By far this is the best tent I have ever owned. I would recommend the custom fit Napier III of which I am an extremely happy owner of said product.

I received my the series 57 just a week ago and have set it up in my driveway twice, just to get the procedure down.

Ours kids no longer camp with us as they would rather hang with their teenage friends so my wife and I decided to sell our trailer last year will the market was still hot. This year we thought we would try tenting but wanted to be able to sleep in the truck box on our Ford F150. We opted to get the truck tent as well as the lower extension tent. After using it for the first time over the May long weekend I must say I was impressed with the build quality and ease of setup. Setup was no longer than what a pop up trailer would take and the room we have inside was great with the lower tent connected to the truck tent. The instructions printed on the inside of the carrier bags was very handy as I will always have them when ever I go to use the tent. I had no issues with this fitting out truck and would recommend to anyone.

Excellent tent and very large assembled.

Bought both parts in the largest, 8 foot bed size and went camping with son for the weekend. Was able to fit 2 queen sized air mattresses inside and still have plenty of room for movement throughout. Full system on 8 foot bed will give you about 16 feet in length of space inside from back of cab to entrance in lower section. HUGE! Installed rain cover and no water entered during trip. Best tent ever used and setup was super simple and secure.

Disappointed

I returned to camp after the morning hunt (deer season), to find that the tent pole that spans the entrance (long, gray pole) had snapped and splintered, piercing the rain fly. I was at a loss to explain why this occurred. No one was present in camp. The weather was cool, but calm. No tree limbs had fallen in the area. There are no bears. I e-mailed a query to Rainer’s customer service dept. two weeks ago, but have yet to receive a reply.
