[Rewarded Review] Great quality

I bought the 6 person Taurus so I can camp with the whole family. There are only 4 of us so I always buy up a size or two for the elbow room.

[Rewarded Review] Sweet camping set up!

Perfect for car camping ⛺️. Easy to set up and take down. Packs nicely into the carry bag. Material is good quality and didn’t let the rain or wind in.

Even great update to an already awesome tent!

What the title said. I have this tent from a few years back. I love the simplicity of the setup even more and the new rain fly is wonderful. Gives us two vestibules to work from. Such a great car camping tent.

Taurus 6.

Shipping was fairly quick. Upon unpacking the tent to field test it I found one of the elastic bungee chords inside one of the pole sets had broken, rendering the tent useless right out of the box. Customer service had a new set of poles shipped and delivered in two days. Tent is nice and roomy. I expected the floor to be of better quality material, but as of yet I can't speak against its durability or defense against rain. Used twice for two overnight trips. So far so good. 3 stars for now. Will update if anything else goes wrong or if the tent blows me away in poor weather conditions.

Poor design, shortsighted construction

I wanted to like this tent (I have had several Alps tents that served me well for many years), but it has a significant design flaw that magnified a construction defect. The design flaw is that the top of the vestbule openings are situated over the inside of the tent doors. If you exit in bad weather, opening the tent door then the vestibule door allows rain to fall on 4-6 inches of the floor. That makes for a mess to mop, and potentially wet bedding and other equipment.

[Rewarded Review] Mini Bag

The tent is exactly as I expected, nice and roomy and easy to set up and take down. I am giving it 3 stars for the same reason, I am going to start giving all the camping equipment I buy a 3-star rating, the bag. Why does every piece of camping equipment I purchase come with a bag that is 3 sizes too small? I should never spend more time putting something into a bag than I spend setting it up. For the money they charge, it would seem they could afford to at least make a bag that does not have to be drum skin tight. I would actually be willing to pay a few bucks extra to cover the additional material.

Great tent

Really nice tent. Easy to set up. One of the poles had the string cut when it arrived but it didn’t take much effort to fix so not a big deal. Overall quality product.

Decent quality/Decent price

Good purchase overall. Did well in 10-15 mph sustained winds with 30 mph gusts on Assateague Island in mid November. In those conditions I knew the stakes included with this tent were going to be worthless and sand spikes were necessary. Rain fly provided excellent coverage and ventilation is good. An improvement I would make would be to replace the fiberglass poles with aluminum.
