It is a striking rug and I am constantly being complimented on how it pulls my living room together. My floors are very dark wood, and my furniture is neutral. I wanted something to contract with the dark floors, but complement my furniture and this filled the ticket. The rug is of good quality and has a dense pile. Read up on wool rug care, as you should not use a beater vacuum on them. There are recommendations on line for treating different spills that is most helpful. The natural fibers are moisture and fire resistant. The most important feature to me was that wool is a sustainable product. DO ZOOM IN ON THE PHOTO! I expected a beige base color, but there is lots of green and yellow in the rug. At first I was not happy, but after placing furniture it has really grown on me, and I am very pleased with the rug. As you can see by the photos I had the rug first, then selected furniture. :)

The rug I received looked nothing like the picture I saw on Overstock. What was supposed to be white was brown and actually looked dirty. The rug I thought I was buying would have looked great with the furniture and flooring we have. Very disappointing.

The pile isn't great so plan to vacuum. It is pretty though and hides spills or stains.

I bought two of these rugs for a loft area and they are beautiful. They are very thick and the colors are perfect for the room as it overlooks a lake. The quality of the rug is amazing and I will be buying more from this manufacturer Safavieh.
