What a beautiful set with such a festive and fun mix and match pattern! FUN pattern is very cheerful and will brighten up a white kitchen with pop of unexpected color and designs.

Dishes are pretty. You can use them in the microwave - the gold trim doesn’t spark, but if nuking them longer than a minute, they can heat up. While the gold trim doesn’t spark in the microwave, nuking longer than a minute does seem to “burn” the gold trim. On one bowl the gold leaf curled up and pitted after nuking for more than one minute. See pictures. The dinner plates are not huge. About ten inches. 10.25 depending on which wavy edge you’re measuring. They do have a wavy, non-symmetrical edge. All the plates do. It’s a challenge to stack them without them looking wonky, inasmuch as you have to look at the mark on the back to determine which way is up. The salad plates are not easy to line up, but they’re not as freeform looking as the dinner plates. If you don’t like the wobbly looking stack of plates, that’s something to consider.
