This product worked incredibly well defrosting ice that had built up in the cold months we had! It helps me add so much time to my daily routines, very durable. Didn’t use much power at all, not a lot of energy.

Bought this on 12-18-23. It did work in tank to keep water from freezing but immediately started rusting in bottom of tank .then on 2-2-24 it quit! I called Tractor Supply but they said would only replace if 30 days or less so DON’t buy this. Wasted money . I’m going to contact the company, probably won’t do any good but going to try anyways to see what they say !

Bought this in December been working fine I have cover over half the tank , no animal can mess with it. Now it’s February and it’s quit Can’t get it to work at all junk.

I have a 100-gallon stock tank and when my heater died, I was lucky to find this one. It worked great and is sturdy. It's a different style than my previous heater and I prefer it to the other.

My old trough heater broke and I decided to give this one a try. Works great. I chipped a hole in the 3" ice to get it in, then turned it on. Ice was gone the next morning from my 250 gallon trough.

I got this version because it's supposed to have a mfg 3 year warranty. It was modestly priced and rated to not damage my plastic pond liner. My 10,000 gallon pond iced over even with a big air pump bubbling, so I had to use hot water to make enough of a puddle for this to do it's thing. It kept a hole open even with a record -24.7 degrees.

These heaters work great! We had a cold snap that lasted about a week. Usually I break the ice for the chickens and the rest of the farm already has heaters. After about 4 days of it being in the single digits, the ice was getting harder and harder to break and was refreezing quicker and quicker. So I knew it was time to buy another heater. We broke up the ice and well as we could and pulled the big chunks out and put the heater in. It did great keeping the water from freezing again and ever so slowly is was melting the leftover ice that we were unable to get out. My ducks were so thankful. They immediately jumped in the “pond” And took what I’m sure felt like a hot tub bath. It froze me just watching them but everyone was happy. We’ve had our other heaters for a few years now and they still work great too! Highly recommend.
