ok, but not great!

I thought, as with most Chenille spreads, that it would be soft, but it is not. It is rather scratchy. Even tried washing and drying it a couple of times to see if that would help. Still scratchy. Very disappointed. Returning it.,

A beautiful, affordable chenille bedspread

I've been looking for an affordable queen-sized bedspread, and I finally found it at Kohl's for a great price! I love the rich chocolate brown color, too.

Looks good for vintage bedroom.

Got this in white with shams for my mother's bedroom. Was nice and bright. a bit thinner than expected but washed well and stayed nice. True to size. Full size was very good for full size bed. Not too small like some. Would order again if don't want something heavy.

Nice product but runs small

The bedspread itself is quite nice. I have a full size bed and initially ordered a full. It was far too short on both sides. I re-ordered in a queen size and it fits the bed perfectly. I am returning the original purchase as soon as I can; but, went ahead and ordered the replacement in case I might need to return it also. It fits very well and I'm very pleased with it.

Much smaller in size

The quality seems to be okay. I bought a full and it was much too short on the sides for our bed. I am returning it for a queen size. I bought the chocolate color and it is deep and rich. Since all I did was try it on the bed and repackage it I can't comment on durability; but, it appears to be well-made and finished nicely. It's simple which is a plus for me.

No need to look further, this is "the one"

This is a lovely bedspread. I have been wanting one for quite sometime. I have spent hours looking for a good, well made bedspread and this one is all I was hoping for! I had tried different ones (because its hard to see the quality of the fabric in pictures) and sent those back. I cannot say enough good things about this chenille bedspread. It fit my bed perfectly and the fabric is soft and very comfortable. It did shed a little when I washed it, but it held up beautifully. If you are searching for "the one" this is it!

Nice, but heed attached lint warning

Purchased as lighter spread for summer. Queen size hangs on floor so washed to see if it would shrink. It didn't, and I stopped dryer 3 times to empty overflowing lint filter. FYI, we're getting use to it, just push extra under the bed so we (Seniors) don't trip walking around bed.

Great buy for the price!

Very happy with this bedspread, especially for the price. I washed and dried it before using and got very little fuzz or lint. I bought a chenille bedspread somewhere else a couple of years ago and after many washings and dryings it still had a lot of lint so I was really happy with this chenille bedspread. The only wish I have is that it was a little longer on the sides but it still looks nice on my bed.

Not too heavy, best for Spring/Summer

I replaced a cheaper chenille bedspread for this because of the fiber dust the other one left. This one is lighter and not so much chenille , so less fiber dust. I ordered a Queen, the bedspread says Queen, but it the size of a King! I have a tall bed, and this one falls onto the floor front to back!

Great Look

This is a beautiful spread and looks great on my antique iron bed. Disappointed that does not reach the floor as pictured. I purchased this so I could get rid of the bed skirt, but it is not long enough. I am still very happy with the appearance and quality.

Just what I wanted

This bedspread and shams were just what I wanted. The blue color was exactly as shown. It is very lightweight, which I like. I use an electric blanket in the winter so this set will be perfect year round. Its very pretty on my bed!

Horrible Smell and cheap

The smell was horrible. I would have washed it and tried to keep it until I got it half way out the packaging and saw the fringe is a twisted mess and would not have survived even one gentle wash along with the fact the back is muslin. Yes, the back is muslin. That is not mentioned anywhere that you are paying for a one sided pillow with the cheapest backing fabric around next to burlap (potato sack). This is being returned.

I really like it

Like other comments have stated it does shed especially first wash. And it is thin compared to something l8ke a comforter. But it keeps me warm. I love the fabric. It's not soft and fuzzy like a fleece blanket. But it's still soft and comfortable. It's also very beautiful. I purchased the pink, full sized. It fits the bed well.

Beautiful, but not just lightweight, it's thin

It's a very pretty, vintage-looking bedspread, but it's not only lightweight, the weave is a bit thread thinner compared to what I had expected. A good bedspread can have a tight weave, and still be lightweight.That's not the case for this spread. However, between a sale price and coupon, it was less expensive to buy from Kohl's than elsewhere. So, if you're going to buy it, Kohl's is the place to do so.

Sweet southern shabby chic

This is a coverlet, but still absolutely beautiful. Gives an old southern charm feel. If you’re looking for a thick comforter, this isn’t it. But to add a southern charm in a shabby chic bedroom, this is it! This was a gift to my mother for Christmas and it gave her memories of her aunt and her childhood.

Pretty but pricey

I bought the bedspread about a month ago. I was disappointed that it didn’t come with the shams, considering the price. I waited on ordering the shams until today because of all the poor reviews regarding washing but I have washed it and did not experience any of the shedding that others reported. I washed and dried it on a delicate cycle and it looks great. As I ordered the shams today, I noticed that the bedspread is now on sale. Ugh! Wish it was when I bought it. At least I’m getting the shams on sale. Disappointed though that they only have standard size shams and not a king option. All in all, I like the look of the set. It’s stylish, long enough to cover my entire deep mattress and washes well.

Nice spread for the price

Just received today washed on cold delicate abs dried on delicate low. Emptied dryer lint trap about every 15 min and took a pic. It does shed quite a bit but it’s 100% cotton and I’ve had towels that do the same when new. It’s made in India and it’s lightweight (pic below of thickness). I’m putting in under a quilt for summer. I have a king size Stern's & Foster oversized mattress and it covers the sides. I got the ivory color. All in all happy, was looking for something that would hang and cover as my quilt is a king and alone doesn’t cover the sheet overhang on the sides.

I Love This

I bought this bedspread 6 months ago. It has been used everyday and been through the washer and dryer just fine. The white is very white and clean looking.. I was looking in many stores for this and found it at Kohls. I was tired of making beds with big puffy comforter, shams, bed skirt, and regular sleeping pillows.Putting them on and off, laundering all, it was too much after years of doing it for show . Now it is still attractive,and quick and simple to make the bed. Now my husband does it too! We do not use shams. we do have a few light turquoise throw pillows to contrast the white. However it looks very fashionable on the high king sized bed we have on hardwood floors, no bed skirt so the floors show nicely under the bed. Simplify your life!
