It is definitely nonstick. I don't use metal utensils so would it hurt the finish, I don't know. It cooks pretty even though there is a very slight hump in the middle. The floor is only 9 1/2 inches I was hoping it would be 12 inches so I could spread my onions or fried potatoes out. I don't like the lid, no vent and the handle is very thin. I've had it for about a month or 2. It arrived early.

Just what I needed. Work fine for me. Easy to clean so far it's a non stick material is working good. I'm ordering another one.

My second skillet because I tortured my previous skillet. Yes, believe me? It will warp if left on a burner with no contents for at least a 1/2 hour. It could have been more but I love it so much I immediately replaced it. I have a full set and use it daily.

Blue Diamond pan with lid

I have bought Blue Diamond pans for my daughter. She loves them. Decided to try one that actually came with a lid. It was very affordable. In these times a big plus. It's AMAZING! I absolutely love it. Nothing sticks to it. I definitely recommend it!

Every blue diamond surfaces are scratched

I purchased the set of pots and frying pans about 7 months ago. I've only used them for cooking. Every single pot and pan has been scratched. I thought the blue diamond coating was resistant to scratches. I purchased at Kohls and I wish I could find the receipt so I could return them. Not worth the price

Great but hot spot sticking already?

I got this for Christmas and really happy until 2 weeks food began sticking on a 3" area. I have to keep scraping it while cooking and it comes off. It might be a hot spot, I don't know. Using a steel spatulas now because of that spot and works easy no scratches. I have the receipt and under 90 days so taking back to the store. I'll do a little more research with other pans in the store to decide if I want to stay with this brand. Warrantee is only for two years I want to get an 8" and pot as all my pans now are in bad condition.

Quality that goes the distance!!!

I’ve had this frying pan for over a year and I am still amazed by the quality and performance. Not even the toughest baked-on food sticks to the pan as long as you clean it properly. I use this pan 4-5 times a week and there is not one scratch on it. I absolutely love that it can go from the stove top right to the oven. I don’t usually write reviews but I love this thing so much I was compelled to.

This is the best non-stick pan I have ever owned. This is my third one in 7 years. I have found that using lower heat and non-metalic tools works the best. The glass lid is perfect for viewing the cooking and easy to clean. I am able to just wipe out the cooking remints when done.

12 inch pan is heavy duty and big. I really like the quality of blue diamond cookware, nice heavy duty with no Teflon. I plan on switching all my cookware to blue diamond.

Finally a pan that is truly non stick, and at an affordable price. I've bought far too many pans that didn't live up to the promise, but Blue Diamond actually lives up to their promise. I can't speak for the metal utensil usage because I won't use them, but the food truly slides right out of the pan.

Love the size, the weight, and the glass cover. However, the nonstick coating did seem to wear off in terms of efficacy inside a year. It still looks like it did when it first arrived brand new, but food sticks to the center, and I end up having to soak.

Two years later I am writing this review to say I absolutely love this large pan. I use it at minimum 3 times per week and there is no visible wear. I’ve had a blue ceramic tea pot from Lennox and that paint started coming off in less than a year. Im happy to say, not with this pan!

Never tried Blue Diamond cookware before and I must say I am so far loving it. Cant believe how easy it is to clean plus its not heavy to lift. I hate heavy cookware with having health issues. I did experiment with temperatures using the pan and like having to use lower settings. Nothing sticks to it ! Pus I can use on stove top or oven. In the future I will be buying more products from Blue Diamond. Recommend to anyone to at least try Blue Diamond cookware. Price, nonstick, easy to handle, and cleanup a breeze( dishwasher or hardwash) and versatile. Plus safe to use !

Nonstick only lasts a short time!

At first this pan was like a dream. Nothing stuck to it. I hand washed it and never put it on a high heat burner. About 3 months of use it suddenly started to get food stuck on it which got worse over time. I’m going to have to see if any recyclers will take it…sigh

Every time someone asks for a pan recommendation (which happens more often than I ever thought would happen when I was a child), I always recommend this pan. We purchased this one pan when blue diamond pans first came out, and I am obsessed. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING sticks to it. I have burned things to it, in a way that I would normally think I would have to throw the pan out after, and it still looks nearly perfect. It basically wipes clean, in the way the TV demo's of so many other pans demonstrate. I have never purchased a pan prior to this that would come clean in this way. It also heats evenly and quickly.

I bought this set of Blue Diamond 12 " fry pan and lid as a gift for my granddaughter-in-law. I also bought a 10" Blue Diamond fry pan. This is the only cook wear that I have had for several years and there are no scratch or burn marks on them. If you do not use cooking sprays only butter, oil or margarine, there will be no sticking and easy cleaning. Blue Diamond cook wear are great pans and I'm so glad I found them 5 years ago. My purchase came well packaged, and even though it is Christmas time, the set came on time.

EXCELLENT frying pan with glass lid

Now this is a quality pan. I got this in a lovely blue with a quality glass lid. VERY easy to clean, cooks evenly, not too heavy and is the perfect larger pan. I plan on buying some other Blue Diamond cookware from Home Depot. Satisfied customer.

Good quality pan. Worth the money. ******Update****** sorry but I need to change my review. Bought this in September by March it was ruined despite following all the instructions for proper use. Not worth buying. Don’t bother. The picture of the pan shows how it looks, I used butter before putting food in the pan. Blue Diamond states their pans are supposed to wipe clean - not a chance. I would really like the company or Wayfair to provide me with a new pan. This is not right.
