Beautiful Lamp!

I received my new Jamie Young lamp and it is absolutely stunning. I put it on an entry table and now I need a new table because the lamp is so beautiful!

I made a terrible mistake selecting these lamps so they had to be returned; sadly I had to pay a high return fee. These lamps and shades are huge--I definitely underestimated their size and proportion in relation to my room and side tables. These lamps belong in a very large waiting room. The colors in the on-line picture are not at all representative of the lamps I received. The actual colors on this lamp are not muted; there's no beige color in them at all-- the colors are in well-defined and bold layers of blue and white which did not compliment my decor.

I have had my eye on these lamps for months and decided it was time after I put all of my holiday decor away. They are as big and beautiful as I expected. Make sure you measure. Here is what two of them look like on a credenza. These are not meant for a small table, but if you have a large credenza, buffet, or sideboard these are perfect! I also love that they are made out for metal (not ceramic) and that the coloration varies slightly between the lamps. I’m so happy with my purchase!

The bottom half was more purple than expected, but it’s a pale purple so is okay with me. Like the shade quality. The base isn’t perfect, but it’s the nature of the coloring. Large lamp makes a statement in my space.
