Horrible Description

Don’t be fooled. All pictures show three scallops. However, for this price, only one scallop is included. If you want what is shown, you need to spend three times the money! Seems like intentionally misleading.

Buyer beware

I took my time with ordering all of my valances from jcpenny because I'm upgrading my house and I have always gotten my curtains and bathroom rugs from them because of such great quality........not this time 😡 I have never been so disappointed with jcpennys items as long as I've been a customer which is well over 30 yrs. After patiently waiting for my delivery I was so excited to put them up, but when I opened the package I had to look at the name on the senders page because I have never seen such poor quality I mean all of my valances looked like they came from the dollar store you can see directly through them!!! And strings were hanging off of them!! I immediately demanded a return slip and was told that they came from another manufacturer. I told them that the manufacturer is making jcpenny look pretty bad and gives jcpenny a bad reputation. The curtains are awful and now I have to start all over some place else because our local jcpenny store closed down, I was told I'd be issued a $25 gift card, I could care less about that, I need good quality valances!!! So make sure you ask questions before purchasing anything from jcpenny because you'll never know where it's coming from!!!!!

I'm happy with them!' I when I first picked them out I didn't realize the top part came in orange/brown and orange and brown in one valance. If I knew I would have asked for all brown. But no one has not liked them so far.

Sent the wrong color valence

I ordered ombré but Home Depot sent me burnt orange.

Each valance had a different drop measurement. Each valance has a different header color. Not a consistent pattern at all. Waste of time/money. I will be calling jcpenney for refund.

Thin and flimsy

They are much thinner than they look in the pictures. Not heavy weight at all. More flimsy. The colors are okay but again not extremely vibrant. I'm going to keep them but I'm sure I will change to something different in the near future.

I would buy this product again

These have a lovely drape about them, however, the dye lots will determine how the top colors flow. Since I used 3 valances to span my 102" window, I didn't realize the dye lots would make a difference in how they look when hung. I can live with the outcome, but should have ordered an extra set of valances in order to get a good color scheme going across the top. Since these are an ombre dye lot, some are darker and some are lighter across the top of the valance. I suspect where they cut the material gives you either the lighter gold color or dark green colors off each side. They are a very thin material, so they are see through.

Very beautiful but know they are thin

I have ordered 10 packs of these curtains. 2 long, 1 wide middle panel and 7 valances. All to put together a look for behind my bed on a tester. I have been ordering them one or two at a time over months as I cant afford. All curtains have been consistent, well made, and came in a timely manner. They ship across the country from me but they still come every time within 10 days in perfect condition. Great company to depend on and deal with. Would recommend these to anybody. Just know you will be buying a lot as they are thin.

Makes my windows pop

The uniqueness is what caught my eye. It matches my living room furniture perfectly. I just ordered 2 more to make it full. The only thing that might be an issue is the patterns are Different on each one. Hopefully the other 2 will coordinate with these. Overall these are well worth the price.

This is a stunning valance! It really brought my whole living room together! I have to say I did not know that Home Depot had such a variety of curtains online. Home Depot will be my first place to look for curtains in the future. Keep up the great selection!

Love it

I absolutely love these valances. I ordered the chocolate. It looks very expensive. I couldn’t decide what color would look best with my light grey color walls so ombré was the perfect choice for me. The multiple color shades really ties my whole room together.

Disappointed

I ordered twice an still didn’t get matching curtains don’t know about the rest of you but if you have 2 windows in the same room you would won’t them to look the same .. real misleading from the photo. Not at all looking like what I thought I ordered! Going by the picture. I ordered the chocolate! Post to have blue in it ! Should of known better to have ordered again after the first time but you would think they would make sure you at least got the same colors after talking to a real person about the first mess up! DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Misleading picture

The curtains are much sheerer than they appear in the photo. Also, the "valance" shown is actually 3 valances put together. The description says "valance" giving the impression that what is shown is one complete valance. I bought 3 valances, then after delivery I had to buy 6 more... a $90+ difference.

Colors are not consistent

Panel colors are not consistent. I ordered 4 panels, 3 were the same chocolate color along the rod pocket. The fourth was light brown across the top. So had to exchange 1. I just hope the replacement is right or I will have to return all of them. Also, the ones shown do not have the same pattern of colors as what was shipped. These are very sheer and light weight.

Elegant

Elegant valance. Fabric was a little more sheer than expected but it still is an awesome deal. I didn't even have to iron it before hanging. Pix are both with and without a flash to give you a good look. Really finished/added a little class to this powder room. Love the color variance in the fabric, really gives it dimension.

I loved the look and it arrived on time. This is why I gave it a 5 star. If I was rating on color it would be a one. The color was not the same it was a dark navy and light blue , no grey as it's original photo. It also was a little confusion as to how you put it on the rod. I figured out in a few minutes. You take the wide end and push it on then pull the other wide end. The big mistake I made was I did not read the description all the way. It says it is only one. So to achieve the look per window you need to order 3 per window. The material is like a wrinkled type silky material. I can deal with the color issue? I just pray they match when the rest arrive.

These curtains had numerous flaws - stitching coming loose, tassels missing or not sewn on at all. The color on several had white streaks in the material. I only wanted 4 good ones and ended up ordering around 15 and returning/ordering until I got 4 that were decent. One I had to sew the hem myself since I was tired of ordering them to get a good one. Just be warned. Otherwise they are OK.

I love this valance. I will admit I was somewhat confused when I received it because The picture shows 3 separate panels, but when I made purchase I thought this was one valance and disappointed when I opened package to only find one. I immediately ordered 2 more. No big deal, they are on there way. I can't wait to get them. They are beautiful and go so well with my Color scheme and what I am trying to capture in my décor.
