Arrived packed like it had be opened & returned. Finials were scratched and bent in rod ends. Was able to get straightend and refinished scratches as returning and turnaround for replacement would not work.

Great Rods!

Very stylish looking curtain rods. Very sturdy as well. I extended mine to 100-in, and put 52in 2-panel curtains on these and with the middle bracket they held perfectly straight.

Great rod

Great looking curtain rods which add to our dining room. Have had them for a few years and they are holding up and still look good.

Clean simple transitional design!

Matches extremely well with my Pottery Barn rods for a fraction of the price. Lightweight and easy to install! Came back today looking to buy more for the new house.

Review

For those wondering what size drill bit to use, we tried a 5/32 and it worked perfectly. Item was a little scratched and somewhat cheap looking. But noone will see the scratches with the rod up over the window and overall it looks fine.

Very flimsy

The photos in the listing look good, but the product is very flimsy. You cannot tighten the screws for the rod as the wall is in the way. They should have moved the screw position. The round sphere hole is not always centered with the rod, so the sphere may not always be in the center of the rod.

Cheap for a reason

I had several issues with this rod: 1.) one of the balls arrived damaged, 2.) the instructions are too basic (for instance it says to drill a hole in drywall for wall anchors, but doesn't give you a recommended drill bit size, so I had to guess), and 3.) the screws are very cheap/soft and a couple stripped upon installation, resulting wobbly hardware. Functionally it works and I like the look of it, which is about all the positive things I can say.

Weird painted finish

I purchased the matte silver option to match the curtains I purchased. It was scratched out of the box and scratches very easily when installing. It’s like it’s a painted finish that scratches off and not actual metal. Very frustrating. Beyond that it was very easy to install and is functional.

Matte black was great

I’m not sure if others are ordering something different. I’ve ordered the plain matte black ball. I absolutely LOVE the simple look of these rods. I’m working on slowly putting them throughout my house.

Classy look, quality, easy installation

Looks better in person. The first one I received was damaged but I don't believe it was the packaging because it seemed secure it seemed to be the shipping. Anyways easy to install and looks very classy. I have lots of white and coastal looking furniture and so this fit very well with that while not seeming too casual

Poor Packaging

Arrived in damaged package. There was no internal packaging to help protect. Even the delivery guy pointed out how bad the packaging was and that curtain rod had been rolling around the delivery truck. This is the 2nd item that arrived this month with poor packing from WalMart. Not worth the pain to return. I won't order on line from WalMart again.

Never again!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. When the item was delivered there was a chunk of one end of the box missing. Then I opened it, its was even worse!! The glass knobs were broken off both ends of the rod. Theres no way of putting them back on without having to put super glue. Im so Disappointed! Im also trying to get ahold of customer service and they said it would be 3hrs. This makes me not want to order from Walmart again.

Disappointed- got these over others because of the coppery scratches shown in the picture. I bought 3. None had these. (Confirmed they sent the right color.) They’re completely solid- a nice looking brown/black and otherwise good quality. But just dissapointed that there’s no detail of any kind.

The distressed white is lovely and easy to install. Initially like another reviewer, I thought the center rod (for longer length option) would not fit into the either end of the finial poles, however in my case the center pole was actually the one that has a finial on it. So take off the existing finial and use that as center rod, then it will work!

The round finials look similar to the much more expensive Pottery Barn finials. Three rod sections came in the set but there is no way to hook all three together. The center section should be smaller on each end to slide into the end sections but it was only smaller on one of the ends. It worked for me because I only needed the smaller width. If you need the closer to the maximum width you may be out of luck.

I recently remodeled my living room and replaced all my window curtains with window scarfs, and decided to go with these rods to add an extra touch. My floors are dark wood so they blend beautifully.

I love the color mildly distresses soft white. Just the right size finial. I think they would look great in every room. I am in the process of hanging, one review said they didn't hang center holding bracket to wall. My curtains that I bought from Overstock are sheer so don't need that much support. I will try it without center holding bracket.

Very classy look!

I got this curtain rod a couple of weeks ago and it's perfect. This Exclusive Home Sphere rod is a beautiful heavy weight with a matte black finish . The finish feels thick and durable. I love that the rod is adjustable from 36" -72" inches. This means I have a lot of options. I am using this on my skin porch. I really like the durability of the rod because I can easily use a heavier curtain for winter, with no worries about the rod bending. I am so happy I will be ordering more!

Easy to Install

Excellent curtain rod. I used this in my dining area where I have a set of heavier black out curtains. I was thrilled that this rod was easy to install and extend to fit my double wide windows. With the heavier curtains, I always worry about the rod drooping when it's extended out. That was not the case with this curtain rod. It holds the weight of the curtains perfectly. And the matte black finish looks beautiful in my dining area. I would definitely recommend this curtain rod.

Perfect Choice!

This rod looks even better than it did on the picture. The end finials are large and intricately made. This makes a bolder statement than a traditional solid ball. It was very well packaged for shipping and contained everything I needed to install it easily. It looks so much better than the one I had!
