Wrong Item Delivered

The wrong item was delivered. I ordered the blue pattern and received a completely different, brown patterned rug instead. I hope my return goes seamlessly. I have never ordered a large home item from Macy's and hope this is not representative of their attention to detail (or lack thereof).

Half silver, half beige

While this rug is beautifully neutral, it is NOT mostly silver and gray. Perhaps I got a bad print lot, but it has tons of beige and is not as detailed as the pictures suggest. The lines are not as crisp as in the photos. Too much of a pain to return as I can hardly lift it.

great quality for price

This rug is unexpectedly soft and very high quality for the price. It's a nice lower pile but still feels plush. Does benefit from a rug pad under it. No chemical smell out of the packaging. I now have two versions of this rug, and love both.

Dull colors

Love the colors of this rug, but the printing is so dull compared to the photos. Not sure if it’s just mine, but the print has streak lines as well. The rug will appear silver in some times of day as well. Would work better in a room with limited light. Would have returned and picked a different one but this is like my third rug in a year. Lol

Colors are not as pictured

I’ve bought two of these rugs so far, a rectangular one in “blue” (red and blue) and a round one in “rust.” The rectangular one has been in my living room for about 3 years now and the round one I just got on super mega sale, so I had an idea of what to expect. The coloring is not super pigmented as they show in photos. They are more washed out and look more whitish depending on what angle you’re viewing from and if you run something along the rug fibers. This is true even in rooms that aren’t sunny. This is true for both my rugs, new and old. The round one I got lucky and laid it out and it happened to be oriented such that it appeared darkest and most pigmented. My old rug I could never get to look like I wanted since it is rectangular and can only be oriented one of two ways in my space. The “rust” color is definitely more blue and the “blue” is more beige. If you’re super picky about color and comfort these aren’t for you. But if you’re after a good deal, don’t want something that sheds, and will be buying a pad for underneath then it works. This rug is very soft, and feels good to walk on. Quality wise, I think it's fine. I would have given it five stars, but the color was much more muted/washed out than in the pictures. I usually like vibrant color, and was going for something a little more toned down this time, but it was much more washed out than I thought it would be.

What a bummer

Very upset by my purchase. I was really hopeful that based on the pictures and review it would be exactly what I needed. To be honest, the print is faded Inconsistently and the fringe on the ends was not what I saw in the stock picture with the sewed on Fringe at the end (see pictures). The size worked great but honestly, the quality of the rug is subpar and the design is not as defined as I anticipated. I plan to return this rug.

Rug discoloration

Loved the colors online. I ordered it and the colors are much lighter unless you vacuum it a very specific way. It’s like two different rugs. So disappointed and I usually love targets rugs. The online pictire vs the one I received in the photos. Just gonna keep it since it too much of a hassle to send back.

Beautiful rug

I bought this rug a few years back. I love love love it. The colors are beautiful. It has held up so well to heavy use and dogs. Iv used a carpet cleaner on it once and it looked brand new. It is currently out of stock. Hope they bring it back

Great rug!

This rug is extremely soft and the perfect fit for our room. It’s very similar to a McGee & Co that is five times the price. The other reviews that mention the colors changing when the pile lays a different way are correct, but that doesn’t bother me in the slightest! It helps when vacuuming to know where I have vacuumed :)

Six Stars!

I'm beyond thrilled with this Bazaar Emy 8x10 medallion area rug! I searched through many websites, looked at 100s of oriental rugs, some of which were 3-4 times the cost of this one, and based on the stellar reviews, I bought this one from Home Depot. I've had it for a little over 3 months, and it has far surpassed my hopes. Firstly, it showed up at my Home Depot 2 days early. When I unrolled it, it did have a couple wrinkles, which is to be expected. One edge was curled up, so I placed the ottoman on it. In less than 24 hours, the wrinkles were 95% gone, and I moved the ottoman to find the edge mostly flat. Within 48 hours, it laid flat. I couldn't be happier with the look, the quality, and thickness. I was hoping the red was more like burgundy and as dark as the photo looked, and it is a rich, very dark burgundy red. There is no smell, which others had mentioned. I put my nose right on the rug, and I smelled nothing even up close; it just smelled new. I have 2 Labs, one yellow, so I do have to vacuum almost daily, because the red is so dark and her fur is so light, but the rug looks so darn great that it's a pleasure. Even when my dog left deep grooves in the pile from her nails when scratching, one pass with the vacuum and they're gone. The border colors are mostly ivory, taupe, camel, and go with any neutral color. You'll love this rug, too! Less

This rug is perfect. I love how it shows different colors based on the time of day and light shining on it. I positioned it in a way where it always appears lighter from the main areas of the room. But when sitting on my sofa, it appears darker. I haven't had any spills yet to speak on that part. I have 4 kids and I wanted a rug that wouldn't show every little stain and I think this one will do the trick. I also wasn't a fan of fringe since the tassels can seem to look sloppy after time but the tassels are short so that's a plus and seems like it will last a long time. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and I would buy again.

Statement piece! I've tried so many rugs and this is exactly what I wanted! The colors are perfect and as other reviewer said it depends on the time of day and the way you're standing to see the colors. The blend of gray, beige, cream is exactly what I needed. It also pairs well with my coffee table I also bought from overstock. The size was as described and I read many reviews before purchasing. I did put a thin rug pad underneath for extra comfort. This rug is extremely soft under foot but I do recommend a rug pad. You will not regret buying this rug!

Awesome rug!

I looked at a ton of reviews for this rug and was still hesitant to order sight unseen. But, I'm so glad I did it. It's perfect. Thinner than I was originally expecting, but a nice rug pad underneath and you're good to go. The colors (i got rust) were more muted in person than they appear online. I have light pine floors and neutral furniture (medium brown) and while this rug provides visual and colorful interest to the room, it does not overwhelm it at all. It's just amazing to be honest. The rug itself is very soft. I've had it down for a week and the one corner hasn't yet laid flat yet.

Much lighter color than pictured

Quality is what I expected but the colors are not true to the image. They are MUCH lighter than pictured. I had to double check that I didn't accidentally select the Ivory rug. (I ordered the blue). There is also a bit of a shine to them. But overall decent rug for the price, won't be returning just wishing they were slightly richer/darker in color. I ordered 3 of these rugs, one 6x8 and 2 4x6. The 4x6 are slightly smaller than specifications, I had to cut the rug pads (exactly 4x6ft) about 2.5 inches length and width to hide them.

Incorrect Sizing, Print Not Symmetrical.

Pros: The rug is soft. It rolled out flat without bumps or curling at the edges. Like other reviewers stated, if you vacuum or brush it one way it is very very light, it looks more like the picture only if vacuumed, or brush it certain way.
