LOVE THIS SMALLER PITCHER!
I LOVE these smaller pitchers. I live in a mobile home with smaller appliances. These smaller pitchers do not take up as much space. I also LOVE the pink color.
Nice filter pitcher
I decided to try one of these since I was tired of buying big packs of water bottles. Good on the environment plus don't have to lug the heavy things upstairs anymore. This one is a good size for me. Its smaller than I thought so it doesn't take up much space in the fridge which is a plus. And of course the pink color is cute, so is the green lol but I went with pink. Water tastes a lot better than from the tap. Similar to some brands of bottled water. It came with a coupon for my next filters which I appreciate...sadly it already expired.
Dont Drink The First Two Fills
Rinsed the filter for about 10 minutes then filled the pitcher . Next day i go to taste the water and noticed it tasted very odd and my chest got tight when i would swallow. Thought i was trippin and put it down , 30 minutes later i go back take another sip , same thing . Decided to pour the water out because i didnt trust it. Saw what looked like something in the water but it was the water itself , black and blue liquid in the water , poured everything out , deep cleaned , rinsed the filter 3x , filled it again , now the water is fine . But im sure i cut the life of my filter down significantly.

I have been using a 10-cup Brita filter pitcher for years and bought this 7-cup model to supplement that pitcher because of its slim design and because it promised to feature twice as much as Brita could. After using it for a couple of weeks, here are the comparison: My tap water's TDS reading is 70 ppm. Filtered water using Brita is 44 ppm and PUR is 61 ppm. Since I really like its shape and appearance, I thought I would keep it as a second filter and filter the water from the Brita pitcher through this pitcher again to reduce the TDS further. To my astonishment, after filtering the 44 ppm water from the Brita pitcher through this pitcher, it still reads 44 ppm, which means this filter did not further filter any of the remaining solids in the water. No matter how much I like the pitcher itself, it failed miserably to deliver the one thing it was designed to do.

This was the best purchase I have made in a while. I should have bought one of these water filtration pitchers, years ago. They're reasonably priced and the filtered water that I've been drinking out of this pitcher daily, taste's way better, and it's much healthier than drinking ordinary local tap water, which didn't taste very good, and it has been found with many concerning and problematic things in it and harmful chemicals, etc...
Love It
I wanted to start drinking more water each day, but felt guilty about purchasing bottled water and the effects it has on our landfills . This pitcher was the solution!
Way better than Brita
I'm pretty surprised that the Pur filters the water so much better than the Britas. It filters really fast and the water taste clean amd is sparkling. Our water is gross, it smells like a swimming pool. But these are amazing. I also love that i dont have to do 3 filterings before we could drink the water. Also, i didn't expect the pitcher to be so pretty in color and it's easier for our son to pour the bulky Brita pitchers.
PUR PERFECTION!
I loved my old PUR pitcher. But to be honest I had grown tired of their signature dark blue water tank. When I spotted this clear tank version last year,I knew I had to have it.I waited for a sale price...but that never came! Then this year it didn't make any difference, My New Bar/Pub Kitchen Table. IN GREY (VASAGLE) needed a change. So I was all in on full price and all!The light green cap did not let me down!It ties in well with Aqua and Pistachio in my kitchen. And the pitcher is "CLEAR" just as it shows in the photos.(That green tint you see is only for one photo on a white background/SO YOU CAN STILL SEE IT!(They're not trying to fool anybody)!!MY old dark blue pitcher is for Emergency back up Water,in all types of situations. No need to open and rinse and waste a new filter.Just use the Tap water to refill the NEW one.(unless you just want to).I had a BRITA water pitcher originally, but the handle broke. So I made the switch to PUR...because the BRITA had too many parts to keep clean,to many parts to check for BACTERIA...At least in my experience. And I like how simple the PUR FILTERS JUST SNAP AND LOCK IN!With the BRITA filter you have to align T-CROSS BARS...THE (PUR) IS JUST LOAD AND LOCK,DONE!..I like UPGRADING to new and better things, through out my home, when affordable or available. Change is Good!Change is Fun!Change gives me the look I 'ORIGINALLY' had in MIND!:)AND THAT'S PRICELESS!:)ME AND MY KITCHEN BAR TABLE,...THANK YOU PUR!:)CHEERS!...And thank you WALMART FOR BEING IN STOCK!:)DONE/NEXT!?
just the right size and effective
Like the soft pink color which to me is not a childish shade of pale pink
defective lid gauge
purchased from a different account Walmart app won't let me leave a review there.
Helpful explanation i hope
I actually really like this!! I used to have a filter on my faucet that I didn’t like. It was put on incorrectly which is why I tried the refrigerator version! The waters cold anyway I like to drink water only if it’s cold enough! This way it’s filtered and cold but the only draw back is it takes forever to fill it up! I contest this problem though. My water has a lot of contaminants in it so I think that the filter is really tight in the pitcher. So I’m happy with it I just have to keep filling the reservoir until it fills up the pitcher to pour into the cup and it takes forever. I think it needs to be more saturated by the water so that it will conduct easier. Hopefully it will get easier the more the filter sits in the water. The thing I like though is when you pour it the spout has a different chamber for the water to pour out away from where you’re putting the unfiltered water out from. I looked at a bunch of these trying to make sure that it was made that way and I’m not so sure about the others but I like it. I like the light indicator for when to change the filter. It actually lights up green. I wish they came in different colors though! Black is not my favorite color especially for kitchen appliances. Most are though but they have some of the pitchers I looked at were red or blue but this one I liked best!!
Cheap
If I could give this 0 stars I would. Essentially, I paid $19 for a pink pitcher. The PUR filter is cheap, removes nothing from my water, and leaks large amounts of charcoal into the water. I followed PUR’s instructions from start to finish. I also followed their very simple instructions to fix the charcoal leak issue twice. It still leaks charcoal. I have two filtered pitchers. One’s a Brita, and the other is PUR. I purchased the PUR Pitcher because I wanted an inexpensive filter to use multiple times a day to fill my humidifiers for my orchids and various plants. Mostly, this is due to my Brita Elite filters being so expensive. Well, I found PUR was more hassle than saving a few bucks. I’ll be returning this trash and sticking with Brita from now on.
[Rewarded Review] Makes Tap Water Taste Great
There are so many things that I love about this pitcher filtration system. First, and foremost, this pitcher will filter out contaminants from the water pipes the water flows through because the material in the filter traps the bad particles. I noticed the difference when I tasted the filtered water; it tasted much cleaner. I like that the filter has a snug cap that will lock it in place inside of the pitcher. The slimness of the pitcher is another good feature; it will fit on most of my fridge shelves and I still have plenty of room leftover on the shelf it is on. This pitcher holds seven cups, so it lasts a good amount of time, and the each filter will filter 40 gallons of water. We use this pitcher daily and have noticed a positive difference in the water we drink now.
[Rewarded Review] No House is Complete Without One!
Living in the the hot state of Florida leads to endless amount of water consumption. Prior to our Pur Pitcher set, my family went through cases of store bought water bottles every couple of days. Not only is not cost effective, but the amount of waste we were contributing to the environment was pretty embarrassing, even though we recycled all bottles. After adding up what my family spent each month on cases of water bottles alone was not something I was proud of. I knew there just had to be a more cost effective and environmental friendly alternative. This led us to the life changing, Pur water pitcher. This water pitcher is a game changer for many reasons. It’s easy to use, and even our children know how to refill it when the water gets low. The filters are easy to change, which prevents many annoyance induced headaches. We save so much money now that we aren’t buying multiple cases of water each week. Lastly, I am proud to say we are no longer contributing to waste when it comes to our water consumption. This pitcher has a nice sleek, modern design. It conveniently fits in our refrigerator without taking up much space. It is sturdy and durable, and it’s evident this pitcher has a lot of life in it. If I go to a home, and I see that they are using water bottles I quickly inform them about our Pur pitcher. This would make a great housewarming gift, bridal shower gift or even a gift for a college student living in a dorm!
[Rewarded Review] Great pitcher!
I got this pitcher for my husband to take to work and keep in the fridge. When his company decided not to go back in-office full time, we kept it home and decided to see if our coffee would taste better with filtered water. I know it sounds silly, but we love our coffee! He started using it in the Keurig first and we really noticed the difference in the taste and acidity. It was so much better that I didn’t even need creamer (we use half and half)! The difference was crazy and we don’t have bad tap water. Next we tried it in the drip coffee maker. I’d been wanting to use filtered water, but filling it from our fridge’s filtered water dispenser isn’t economical as it trips the water filter replacement sensor after just a few pots. We had the same experience with the drip coffee - so much smoother and less acidic. We’re not brewing specialty coffee either - it’s just Folgers or Yuban! We love it enough that we’re going to keep brewing with it and likely buy a larger pitcher to accommodate it. I love that all Pur filters fit all their pitchers so I don’t have to worry about what size or model I have. They filter fairly quickly and the pitchers fit easily in my fridge. I never thought a filtered water pitcher would make that much of a difference, but WOW! If you’re a water drinker - you know not all water tastes the same and this stuff is great!
[Rewarded Review] Convenient & Dependable
Love the look & feel of PUR's 7-cup water filtration system! The new lime color is classy and the handle is comfortable & easy to grip. The system setup is easier than ever, providing fresh and great tasting water within a short time. In fact, I enjoy the taste so much that I find myself drinking more water throughout the day because it is so convenient to use. I also appreciate the filter replacement reminder included in the packaging. It is most convenient for me to place the dated sticker on my frequently-used calendar. For years I just assumed the water coming out of my faucet would be safe for myself and my family to use; sadly, I no longer feel that way. I'm happy to know that many contaminants like some metals and pesticides are now much less likely to be in the water we use every day.
[Rewarded Review] Exceptional!
This pitcher is so beautiful! I love the blush color, and the gray handle is slip resistant and ergonomic! Very thoughtful and useful design! The filter slips in and locks, so simple! Only necessary to run the filter under the tap for a few seconds. Back in the “old” days (I am I fifty-something) we would soak the filter for 15 minutes. Again, so easy. I pulled the pitcher out of the package and in minutes I was enjoying a fresh, good tasting glass of water! Highly recommend. I cannot speak to the purity of the water the pitcher/filter combo provides as my city’s water is known to be pretty good, but my filtered water looked clear and tasted great!
[Rewarded Review] PUR Seven Cup Pitcher filtration system
To begin with I do not like the taste of most water, so when I started looking for a water filter that would not only remove many of the chemicals in it such as lead, I felt by far the Pur Plus was the best filtered water for me. In addition it is also certified to reduce mercury and certain pesticides and eliminates the taste and odor of Chlorine, and in my opinion it actually makes the water taste whole a lot safer. This water Filtration System gives you up to 40 gallons (640 8 oz cups) using PUR’s filter technology and lasting up to 2 months. On the box it tells you how to prepare a filter for use. They are easy to follow steps and it only takes several minutes to complete the process.
[Rewarded Review] Great replacement for bottled water
We love our new PUR Pitcher 11cup. Plenty to last me whole day of clean water. It is certified to reduce more than 20
[Rewarded Review] Excellent Taste
I absolutely love this Pur Plus Water Pitcher. Having water free of contamination is very important to my family and I. It’s also very important to me, because I have an in home daycare and safety is my first priority for my children. When I was given the opportunity to try this Pur Plus Filtration Pitcher, I was very excited. In the past, I’ve bought a lot of bottled water, because it was the safe option for me. With the landfills filling up so fast, I was definitely looking for another option that helped with the environment, without compromising the safety of my family or my daycare children. This Pur Plus Water Filtration Pitcher has definitely helped with that. It not only filters out lead, it also reduces over 70 other containment’s in your tap water. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable filtration pitcher to make their water safer to consume.
