Does not include a mounting bracket. I had a previous filter that I was replacing and the bracket sort of fit. Make sure you put plenty of thread tape on the connections. Mine initially leaked, (Threads are plastic). I had to take the piping apart and with PEX it's a pain.

So far, so good. My old unit had a cracked canister so switched out for this one. Great price! Haven't had to change the filter yet so will see how easy that is.

tend to leak at threads

I had trouble getting 2 out of 3 housings not to leak. Needed to use 3-4 layers of teflon tape and tighten more than I felt I should have. Otherwise they seem OK.

I've owned and installed two of these. Unfortunately, as the title suggests, I cannot recommend these for purchase.

Leaks at gasket

Had to put a lot of teflon tape on the 3/4" threaded connections to keep them from leaking. Got everything installed and the gasket on the filter basket leaked aboiut 1 drop every few minutes. Took it off, cleaned and put silicone lube on the gasket. Reassembled and it still leaks. After 3 attempts I gave up. I thik the gasket is just to thin for the application. I will be returing it.
