Did I get a defective model?

These positive reviews are baffling to me. This mug not only doesn’t keep my coffee warm, it actually somehow manages to make it get colder faster than a regular mug. The cup is hot to the touch, but the coffee inside is like warm within a few minutes. I definitely don’t recommend!

More than I hoped for . . . .

Keeps drinks hot or cold for a very long time, more than I hoped for. Love the lavender color and total design. Feels nice in the hand, looks great. . . . .thanks so much.

Poor Quality

The ceramic chipped on the inside of the tumbler within 2-3 months of using. The tumbler was rusting under the silicone sleeve. I email customer service and they said that it was completely normal and that there was nothing that could be done. They asked me if I ever take the silicone sleeve off to dry because the water could get under and stainless steel is not rust proof. They then ended the conversation and left me hanging. Never responded to anymore of my emails. First off, there were never any instructions on the packaging that says to remove the silicone sleeve and to dry the tumbler. If they’re going to make a tumbler knowing that it’ll rust, then just make a tumbler where there is no removeable sleeve. Make it so water doesn’t get under. It was just a poor design overall. And to blame it on the fact that I didn’t remove the sleeve to dry is absolute crazy. Sounds like a bunch of excuses. The ceramic should not be chipping within 2-3 months of using either. I have a Stanley ceramic tumbler that has last many years with no chips or rust.

Elegant design!

It's a beautiful tumbler. Not only it works great keeping hot or cold your beverages, but it's an eye catcher. I got the charcoal and it looks elegant and sophisticated: it looks great for the office!

BLOWN AWAY!

My gosh. I get the thermos hype now... this thing keeps my tea lattes hot for three hours or more (I usually drink my tea within this time, so I don’t know if it could last longer but I bet it could). After two hours, my tea is still so piping hot that I can barely drink it. This thermos is pure magic! Ordering one for my mom and one for my sister as I type.

Disappointed

While I love the look and feel of the insulated tumbler, it doesn’t function well. It doesn’t keep my drinks hot or even warm for more than 20 minutes, I don’t understand why some people are saying it keeps their drinks hot for hours. Even if I don’t open the lid at all to vent the steam my coffee will be lukewarm before I even have a chance to drink it. Giving 2 stars for the look of the tumbler and the fact that the ceramic coating doesn’t alter the way my coffee tastes but unless you’re someone who doesn’t actually need the tumbler to keep their drinks hot, think twice before buying this.

Extremely top heavy and falls over all the time

This tumbler is extremely top heavy. If you just touch it slightly the whole thing falls over. The lid never stays on. Not sure why they made this one with such a skinny bottom. Just disappointing... unless you want iced coffee or water all over your lap at least once a week don’t buy this.

Not durable, sloppily made

I was really hoping this would be better than the stainless tumblers I have and I was very disappointed. I used it 3 times and the ceramic coating is already chipping off ( hand washed it each time ). Additionally, the Isla one exterior was cut really uneven where it meets the mouth bump out, looked like a very rushed/Cheops manufacturing. Def not worth steep price

great, except one significant design issue

I love this tumbler, the size is perfect, keeps drinks cold or hot, feels good in my hand. The only problem, and this is a big problem honestly, is that the bottom of the cup is more narrow than the top and the edges of the bottom are rounded -- meaning that it tumbles over Very Easily, Hence, it is a Tumbler. So it is not the most stable cup, and if you're in the least bit clumsy, prepare to deal with spills. Good news is the lid that comes with it is snug, but it will leak through the drinking spout.
