Using the XL rug in my living room — beautiful cozy texture. The color is closer to the in-room photos here; the closeup product shots are lighter and whiter than IRL. Would describe the color as natural unbleached cotton — like a neutral light beige that's not too warm. Key for me is that this rug is machine washable — I will only buy washable rugs, I am so over spot "cleaning," yuck! The XL rug is big and heavy when wet, so I took it to the laundromat to wash in a large front loader and tumble dry on low. It came out great, and was absolutely worth the inconvenience to have a fresh, clean rug. You will need a non-slip pad with this rug; I use corner grippers, too, so it stays in place and isn't a tripping hazard.

It just isn't a good quality rug for the money. It's more like a heavy blanket. I washed it one time in a front load washer on gentle cycle, and the cotton yarn fibers frayed. It's very heavy once it comes out of the washer and take several days to dry. The only redeemable quality is that it can be washed. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend this particular company for "rugs". Not pleased with the overall look of the rug. It doesn't look like a nice rug. It is thin and even when using the recommended rug underlayment pad, the rug bunches us not staying flat on the floor. Bottom line is don't bother with this type of washable rug unless you are getting a smaller size for a child's bedroom or playroom. Not a living/family room. I am very disappointed and I wish that I could return it!

Love this rug!

This rug definitely met up to expectations. I was anticipating it being a little lighter - the colors are more oatmeal than I was expecting - but I love it! Also, it's not as soft as my other LC rug that I have in my daughter's room, but it's comfortable to walk on and is very high quality.

Expédition express, le tapis est bon, je ne l’ai pas encore lavé, mais ça sera facile puisqu’il passe en machine à laver.

Mon tapis est bien reçu, je l'ai pris en coloris rose et je l’ai placé dans ma chambre à coucher.

Safe & Clean & Washable!?

When I first discovered Lorena Canals rugs, I couldn’t believe it. Great style, looks, colors and WASHABLE! I came across Rugs by Roo doing a quick google search and loved that the website was filled with washable rugs by all kinds of creators and designers. I don’t think I would have discovered these other brands if it weren’t for this site. Being a pet owner, carpets have always been my worst enemy. Now that’s all changed.
