Solid wood bed, a tad too high with box spring under but too low without them, may buy half size box springs
Bed is absolutely beautiful! Thought it would be solid wood but is a mixture of solid wood and engineered wood-but still looks amazing. Was supposed to be all white glove delivery but two parts arrived days early via FedEx at my door and were awkward and heavy to bring in by myself. Directions were hard for delivery folks to understand but it all worked out.

The bed is stunning. Great Quality. Deliver was quick, handled with care, staff very professional. Would highly recommend the bed! Ordering online was simple and straightforward.
I was very pleased with it when it first arrived, but the middle support beam broke after about 6 weeks of use. Now it has to be held together with duct tape and wood glue. The bed frame is beautiful, but the quality is so poor for an item this price. Wish I had spent my money on a cheap frame instead since it would have lasted longer!
This is such an opulent bed. Looks grand in my bedroom. Strong and sturdy. My family just loves it! Headboard is very heavy . Installation is otherwise easy. Came very well packaged and with no damage. Delivered on time by a very good team . Excuse the small mattress. I need to shop for a king mattress yet! Thanks Wayfair!

I really love this bed. The headboard is beautifully carved and the focal point of the room. The bed is built very solid and sturdy. The only negative warranting the 4-star rating is that the description said it was a whitewashed gray, but it actually is more of a whitewashed tan. Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase and so glad I bought this bedroom set!
It’s a really beautiful bed. I ended up painting it white to match my wood work better. The bed slats looks a little flimsy compared to another bed we recently put together.
Just arrived! We both love it! The headboard feels like unfinished wood, which is perfect because I need to add a very light stain to make it blend better with the rest of the room’s furniture
