Overall I’m satisfied with the TOTO toilet. It flushes quickly and fills up pretty quick as well. I gave it three stars because the toilet seat seems cheap for the price of the toilet, and wobbles around, even when properly installed. The base only leaves about 2 inches of gap from the baseboard to the back edge of the base, and the tank top is slightly smaller than the top edge of the tank allowing the raw uncoated porcelain to show around the entire edge, which is a disappointing oversight for this price point.

The shape of the bowl and the flush capacity are really efficient. The one piece design is easy to clean and attractive. Plan to purchase the same for another bathroom remodel. Highly recommend

Not quiet as advertised

The Eco Ultramax is advertised as a quiet toilet. Not so! After professional installation, it makes a loud gulping noise at the end of the flush. Not suitable for a powder room, bedroom or anywhere else sensitive. Such a disappointment! All the reviews stating this toilet is quiet are clearly false.

Very Dissapointing

Installed this toilet about 5 years ago and we are very dissappointed - low flush means instead of flushing once, you have to flush 3 to 4 times and plunging often. With little water in the bowl, stuff gets left behind. We've had 2 plumbers come to check the installation, but the flush has not improved.... and one of them fixed the flush lever which was rubbing on the inside wall of the tank with each flush (design defect). We expected a better toilet from Toto. Would not recommend - we are looking for a replacement.

Eco Ultra Max- Toto Toilet

Ordered Toto due to reputation .. Unfortunately the Ultra Max Toto ( I order two) ceramic finish was inferior . With the lid on you can see the unfinished / bare ceramic portion of the tank .. This was a surprise as the Toto unusually puts great care into appear once and function..

Perfect to fit under banjo shelf

I bought 2 of these toilets as replacements after one developed a crack. They fit perfectly and it was very hard to find toilets that fit under the existing shelves I have in my bathrooms. They look great and function very well. Cleaning as often isn't necessary due to the coating.

Toto Toilet

The toilet arrived to our house in less than one week...fully intact, nicely and securely packaged. The delivery company engaged by Plumbing Online was great...they brought the crate right to the garage door and they called ahead!! This is our 3rd purchase from Plumbing Online...we will continue to shop here for all of our plumbing-related needs.

Excellent eco-friendly toilet. Fairly strong flush for the amount of water used. The coating on toilet keeps it cleaner. Installation looked fairly easy as I hired a handyman to do it (took about 1.5-2.0 hours to replace 2 toilets).

It’s always a good idea to spend a bit more for a product that is proven to be of good quality and will last longer. This is one example. I bought this one after reading so many good reviews and made me happy every time I took a dump that I just ordered another one to replace a 10 yr old toilet in our mater bedroom. This toilet uses less water to flush everything and is so quiet. What more can I say?

Nice toilet with cosmetic flaw

The toilet arrived reasonably fast and was packed properly, so there was no damage. However, since it was my contractor who was installing the toilet during out bath renovation, I didn’t actually see it assembled for over a month. It was only then that I noticed the tank cover doesn’t align perfectly, or fit properly, which shows the rough ceramic edge. The tank lid seems like it was made for another toilet. Other than that, the toilet is exactly why we wanted, and looks great in our new bath.

Even though the one piece design means it's heavier than just the bowl of a two piece toilet, it was still pretty easy to install. Personally, I found the included seat uncomfortable and cheap looking. We replaced it and I'm very satisfied with the result. It has a very quiet flush. I was concerned about problems with the low flow design, but it's been working fine - no need to double flush.
