Excellent drying rack

Probably the best drying rack I've used. Relatively strong and stable even when hanging clothes on one side (but don't push it). The extra bar on top is very useful to hang shirts so they can dry straight. Bottom rack in the middle is great for smaller items. Side racks flex slightly (understandable) when loaded but they look sturdy enough. Folds up to a decent size similar to most racks.

Perfect drying rack

By far the best drying rack we’ve had. Sturdy, narrow enough to get through doors, long enough to dry everything or stretch out blankets. Had been worried it was too heavy, but it’s not. Laine organised quick no fuss delivery…would definitely shop there again, thanks

Solid purchase!

Very pleased with our purchase, not cheap compared to anything else on the market but well made. Quite heavy to move around but will not come apart when carrying like so many cheap flimsy alternatives.

Unusable

I bought this some months ago, but only unpacked it last week. It’s heavy and felt sturdy, but the supports buckled the first time I used it. I wasn’t hanging anything particularly heavy. A very expensive experience for something that is now unusable.

Brabantia hang on drying rack with central rod

When you want to buy a product, there are plenty of on-line reviews to take in, so as to make an informed decision. Having spent a while looking at these for various brands and designs, we chose this Brabantia hang on drying rack with central rod. It is every bit as good as expected and more. The design and dimensions are perfect for taking at least two full loads of washing and the design ensures that the clothes are not too close to each other so as to impede drying. Robert Dyas was the keenest price we could find and the delivery time was perfect. Thank you.

Lovely airer

I bought this one in grey recently (as my dryer has broke down). I read the reviews before for this and the other ones I liked the design of. I'm very glad I bought this one (on offer). It's strong and easily handles washing loads. It's easy to put up and down (but it's on the heavier side as so well made , but that might cause problems for some). I especially like the design with the triangle parts to hang hangers on- that it's very useful. It's also folds down to a good size. So can be stored easily next to my washing machine.

I had high expectations about this drying rack. I have owned a Brabantia Outdoor Rotary clothes dryer for a couple of years. I really like the design and using it for my clothes. Based on the quality of that product, I purchased a HangOn drying rack. Unfortunately, it collapsed upon first use. This is because rivets are missing from both plastic parts at the top of the rack. I would have expected better quality control from Brabantia.

Very sturdy large washing line, plenty of room for lots of clothes. The bars are a little close together but doesn't affect the drying of the clothes. I have been looking for a good quality washing line for years and have always ended up getting cheap ones. I am glad I finally made the decision to pay more and get a decent one! Very happy :D

This is a sturdy rack with lots of space even without the hanging rail.

Sturdy and well-made.

I bought this because I finally lost patience with my previous drier, which used to collapse on the floor if I even looked at it critically. The great advantage of the Brabantia drier is that it is sturdy. I haven't had it long enough to be certain, but the joints feel strong and well-made, and the paint enamel doesn't look as if it's going to start peeling any time soon - both points of weakness in much of the competition. If I were looking to improve the design - I'd like this to be a few inches higher and also wider - with another transversal support or maybe two on the legs. And if the horizontal 'tray' was a little lower down it would be bigger, useful for drying woollens that are supposed to dry flat - and might help stability in an outside wind. I'll buy another if you make a variant with these changes - but in the meantime, this is good!

Roomy clothes horse

This is a really good item. Loads of space and very sturdy so well worth the extra cost. I like the extending rack over the top - it adds extra hanging space. This dryer replaced two dryers that were falling apart so I’m well pleased with it.

Don’t hesitate to buy

I have been buying Brabantia products for years and it is my ‘go to’ brand for homeware as I know that everything is designed well and of good quality. I haven’t owned an indoor airer for several years, but decided to invest in one as a result ever increasing energy costs. The Brabantia hang on 25 metre drying rack is a fantastic piece of kit and every single bit of it can be used to hang laundry on. It does take up a lot of room when assembled, so be sure to take measurements before ordering, but folds away really neatly for storage. A bargain price from Robert Dyas and I’m really happy with my purchase.

It'll do

I have been searching for a long time for a replacement for my trusty, white enamel wing airer. The enamel is chipping off now. This was the closest I could find. It's OK, easy to put up, but not as wide so my husband's shirts cant be hung smoothly. Also the central hanging area is pretty inaccessible and the rungs are too close together.Its not as sturdy as my old one but not as flimsy as some. I have yet to try the hangerloops

Great piece of kit/worth the money

Brabantia are known for good design, at a cost, but they never let me down whatever it is.. and this clothes dryer didn't disappoint. It's just so well designed and weighted. I can dry a full wash easily and the various heights you can adjust it to really help with long trousers etc, and also kingsize bedding. So glad I went for it, although Brabantia's delivery service needs an overhaul as it needed me nudging Homebase after I'd heard nothing for a week.. which helped. So, apart from waiting 1.5wks, well, it was worth the wait. Don't waste money on an inferior option, especially if reviews state they snapped/fell apart etc too soon (as all my previous dryers have through the years with me trying all sorts of things to carry on using them, as they collapse and washing falls on the floor/terrace.. very annoying).. If you can stretch to it, go for this, it's an investment and you'll only spend more on replacements for other inferior dryers.

My Lifesaver!

I always have a lot of laundry and my only go to laundry supplier is Brabantia. With all the rain recently, I didn't want to use my tumble dryer for the clothes that shouldn't be tumble dried. I bought myself the 25m drying rack which has been my lifesaver. This has already paid for itself in saved tumble-drying costs. I have more flexibility of washing whenever I want to as I know there will be enough racks to hang a load or two and I don't have to worry about it.

Practical and ideal for a family

Brilliant design and well built. Allows 2 sheets to be hung on the arms and also takes a very full wash load. The frame and rungs are metal and weighty and overall extremely good build quality. This replaces needing to use 2 concertina style, flimsy ones which have always broken on us. This is a real workhorse and carries what 2 airers used to carry. Its quite heavy though compared with the cheaper ones, but very easy to open and load up without having to bend down too much. We love it and well worth the money.

Quality product, delivered over a week EARLY!

This Brabantia clothes horse is heavy duty (and by heavy I also mean to imply quality build). Feels about 30% larger and heavier than anything I've used before, for our 3 person family. So plenty of space for clothes but if you live in a normal sized terrace or semi yoou might - like us - find it a bit hard to put up and navigate around. The lift up bit you can hang stuff from actual hangers above the rest of the drying clothes is a great idea - will be using this all the time for shirts and long sleeve tops and stuff with collars. Website and delivery were all seamless (arrived 2 days after purchase when website said it would be 9 days - chose to weight as price was £10 cheaper than Brabantia's own website for identical product). Worked out great for us
