Fantastic bin and price, it’s advertised as a recycling bin but I purchased to use as our general waste kitchen bin and it’s perfect! Fed up of metal kitchen bins that rust and smell and are fiddly to change. This is easy to wipe clean, great space-saving shape, holds a great amount of waste (better than standard circle kitchen bin), and is a gorgeous colour! Also love the way the lid pins the bin bag to keep it in place. Came with brabantia bags which were fab but have also used standard bin bags just fine with it. V happy!!

Useful, strong bin

This narrow recycling bin fits nicely in my kitchen and looks unimposing. It is sturdy and the bin’s handle is strong enough to easily take it outside to empty. A good buy.

Purchased as a present for exacting daughter in law! Luckily she was happy with the colour. I am aware that the “sort & go bin” 40 litres is the largest size but I would have preferred a larger size - maybe 60 litres.

The Brabantia Recycle Bin 40L is a good size, as it is large enough to store all our recyclables for a fortnight. The dimensions are also good as it doesn't take up much floor space.

Lovely colour recycling bin

I'm really pleased with the Brabantia Sort and Go 40litre bin. I was worried that it would be the dark grey bin, as online it says 'grey' but shows a picture of the 'light grey' model. It is the light grey model. Which I'd say is more cream than grey in case that helps anyone. The photo online is accurate colour. I'm pleased because it goes perfectly with the colours in my kitchen. The muted tone makes it look less like a typical ugly bin. Shame the handle is black, as that cheapens the look. But that's only partially visible, so not a big deal.

Well worth it for recycling

Great product for my mixed recycling. Well made, just as expected from picture & size is spot-on (ordered grey). Above all it blends into the kitchen & I've been able to ditch the eyesore I used to have. I like it so much that I'm going to order another one for soft plastic recycling !

The best bins I have ever owned

Superb easy to empty.The handle really helps . The bin takes up very little space. Excellent design. I Bought the Standard waste bin and that was excellent design too which made me try this bin . I am not disappointed. Both are superb.

Good size, good quality

We bought this for paper trash and are very happy. Recycling paper is the hardest because boxes are always large and voluminous. This size of basket fits that really well. White color is nice, not too white, just the right light grey shade. We have it in our hallway and it fits nicely. Overall happy with the product.

good design

Very nice design, holds a lot but fits in well, no wasted space. More good design, the bin bags don't get gripped by a vacuum as most bins do so it's easy to empty. Only one concern (and not a strong one) I think the lid should be a bit stronger, especially where it fits round the bin. Otherwise a very good product in a modern colour colour

Cute and effective

Ok, I'll admit it took me a while to buy this because it was more money than I wanted to spend but having been through three different options and sent them back, I finally bought this bin and I'm really glad I did. The colour is cute, the size is really good, and I like that there's a little cutout to stop the bag getting stuck when you try to pull it out. And I really really like the 10 year guarantee.

Very nice bin.

Bins these days are always quite expensive for a decent one. This large bin is neat and at first glance doesn’t look like a bin, especially as the liners are hidden. It fits nicely into a corner and doesn’t stick out too much. I even bought a couple of smaller ones for around the house.

The Brabantia Plastic, 10.6 Gal. (40 liter) - Fir Green Sort and Go' Trash Can will see good use. I was originally going to use it to store cat food for the 2 cats that used to regularly visit here. They were doing such a great job of keeping the mouse and vole populations under control that I started feeding them. But they haven't been around lately so the trash can will get purposed into holding the steel cans for recylcling. The trash can is a nice size and shape. The rectangular shape makes more efficient use of space. I comes with 3 bags with drawstring tops. There is a ring at the top that holds the lid. One can remove the ring/lid and insert the liner bag and fold it over the sides. Then the ring holds the bag in place.

[Rewarded Review] Nice fit and finish.

Fit and finish is excellent, no burrs or sharp plastic edges. The "stay open" lid hinges (see photo) are swivel hinges, not the 'bendable plastic' molded design. The swivel handle makes for an easy carry and moves out of the way when not needed. No assembly of the unit is required. A sample pack of three trash bags was included in the unit that I received (see photo). The bin is obviously designed for light work - such as holding bottles or cans for recycling.
