Shaw Primavera Bayou 20 MIL was nice flooring, however the color was not what I was looking for. I suggest anyone purchasing this color or other Shaw wood look vinyl planks purchase a box like I did. The color was completely different from my monitor and from what was described so I returned it. But, like I said it is nice flooring.

No warranty

Shaw's warranty is basically no warranty at all. I own several properties and have tried to stay with big name brand flooring thinking it's a better, longer lasting product, but I'm done with them, especially Shaw. It's to the point you can't even get a year out of Shaw's flooring. Save your money and buy cheaper flooring, worst case scenario you have to replace as often as Shaw or best case it lasts longer, either way you're money ahead.

High quality flooring

I installed this flooring in a small bedroom to try it out to see if we liked it for the rest of the house. The installation was done over the top of ceramic tile. The look of the flooring is very nice - the patterns are high quality and realistic looking. It also snaps together fairly easily with the assistance of a rubber mallet and a piece of scrap wood. Some things that we discovered during installation about the product 1) The wear layer is quite thick, and I found that the score-and-snap technique often advertised with these types of flooring is totally unrealistic. Be advised you will definitely need a saw to make all the cuts, both lengthwise and widthwise. 2) The edges that snap together are extremely delicate (fragile) and will break quite easily. We had many damaged planks during shipping, and a few more that happened during installation. (I joked that if you breathe on the plank edge it will break). All-in-all I am happy with the final result. The attached underlayment was a big plus, since I didn't need to lay that separately. The feel underfoot is quite pleasant. If you do install over tile, be aware that any unevenness or leveling problems in the floor will need to be smoothed out before installation. (We ended up grinding some tile down at high spots). The attached picture shows the final result, which is a combination of the Tempesta and Saggio colors in about a 3:1 ratio.
