If you have pets, I don’t highly recommend this rug. It’s not bad, but if you clean it and it gets too wet you can’t get the polyester smell out of the room. My sitting area stinks like the rug now and I want to get rid of it. Problem is, it looks brand new! I’ve barely had it a year I think. So, not good if you have dogs who like to eat apples or treats on it. Cats are probably fine! I’ll be getting rid of this one unless someone can teach me how to get the smell out. I’ve tried a lot of things.

Pretty, but not so plush rug

I'm only okay with this particular one of the Safavieh rugs... I purchased both the 8X10 and the 4X6 for a "great room" (open, combined living room plus sitting area) in our recent remodel. I liked the colors for the room, but the rugs themselves were quite thin, and as yet, have not quite "settled" flat onto the floors (maybe due to the light weight of the rugs?). I hope the non-slip rug pads that I purchased to go under them will help... we will see!
