Opened, put together, and first time using it, it would fire up and immediately start overheating and get the ERH msg that it was overheating—even on just the smoke setting. You could hear the fan just going full blast.

Nice Smoker/Grill

I like the grill, it arrived quickly, in good condition, it assembles easily, and works great. The only complaint I have- this is the second one of these grills I ordered, I got one for my brother as a gift last spring. The first one came with an "accessory kit" that included a really nice weatherproof grill cover. This one also promised an "accessory kit" but I have no idea what that meant as NO cover was included and nothing extra was in the box. Pretty disappointed by that!

Much smaller than expected

This pellet smoker looks like it belongs in a kids playhouse. It’s TINY. Had to assemble the entire thing. Nothing was already together. Was missing parts, still waiting a response from manufacturer. If I don’t get the parts it’s going back. If I had to put a price point on this… maybe $150 at best. It’s about the size of a grill you would see in a public park. Not thrilled and was super embarrassed when I gave it to my hubby! He laughed and thought it was a prank.

Short but capable smoker. Tedious to clean ash.

Shorter than expected. 6' man and opening is righ at pelvis height. Firebox/ash catch is not removeable. Have to scoop out the ash manually which means taking off the grates, drip pan and heat diverter each time. A bit of a pain. Does work well, and food is tasting great. Bought it to test out and have as a mobile smoking to bring in an RV. For that purpose, and the cost, its great! If you want a permanent main smoker and just trying to save $$, probably look elsewhere for something with a removeable firebox and a bit taller.
