Classy addition to our patio furniture
The design and solid base is just what we needed for our oversized umbrellas for our new pool. They were delivered quickly and look great with the whole new ensemble which we purchased from Bed Bath and Beyond. Would recommend this base for its sturdiness and design.

Rust all over my patio
I purchased four stands last spring and they have already started rusting and I have rust circles all over my patio. All four have rusted. Very disappointed since it is supposed to be weather resistant.

Quick delivery and the piece has some style, as opposed to the utilitarian look of most umbrella bases. I will say it is HEAVY! Which is great for stability.
Gorgeous base stand
Beautiful and HEAVY base stand. This one won't blow away in a strong wind and will keep your umbrella safe and upright all season long. High recommended.
Think twice before ordering
The good thing is that it’s very heavy so good in windy environments. But it rusts so leaves marks on our vinyl decking. If you buy this, use a rustolium spray paint to stop the marking.

I bought 2 of these cast iron umbrella stands for my backyard patio. The heavy weight stand holds the umbrellas up on windy days better than the 25 lb stands plus they will last years longer than the cement filled plastic stands. They were very easy to assemble with the threaded pipe for the umbrella tube. Shorter pipes provided if using with a table.
Very sturdy and nice looking too!
Umbrella was in the stand in the closed position during a really high wind storm and stayed upright. I am ver impressed. Post threat perfectly to the base with no problems.

Arrived with rust and was not painted all over the surface. It did not have any feet on it, so it would have rusted anything the metal touched. Poor quality!

Rusted within 2 weeks
The threading on this thing is very cheap, it is very difficult to assemble. Furthermore, I would think "weather resistant" means it won't start rusting. Within two weeks, the stand started rusting all over the place. I would not buy this again.
