Description is totally misleading!

I ordered this light because the description said it was 5" in diameter, all exposed hardware was stainless steel and it was built with exacting craftsmanship. The truth is it is 4-5/16" in diameter, the only hardware that is stainless steel is the locking nut that holds the socket bracket in the right position. The screw holding the angle of the bulb holder is zinc plated as are the two mounting screws. As far as exacting craftsmanship, one of the screws holding the angle of the socket wouldn't tighten because the threads on the holder were too sloppy. Also the mounting holes did not align with the holes on my mounting box. Because I needed the fixtures to complete my project I replaced the zinc screws holding the sockets with longer stainless steel screws with a stainless steel nylock nut on the other side so I could lock the socket in place. I couldn't do anything about the width so I had a slight amount of the mounting box showing, possibly 1/32" on each side, which I covered up with caulk. To solve the mounting hole problem I had to mount the fixture on a cross vice on my drill press and elongate the slots on each side 1/2" so I could screw it to my mounting box. I would not have ordered the fixture if I would have known I would have to invest so much time in making it work. After all the work I am happy with the appearance of the light and they function as intended.

Sturdy and easy to install

The product is solid and was easy to install. I had to drill different mounting holes and it was simple to do, aluminum is way to drill thru and still maintained its integrity.
