The engineer,Eddy, of the product company explained that the mounting opening location is different from the original fixture due to using A19 bulb. After the installation the light didn't on even with the cover over the sensor, but in the night time it works very nicely and I am satisfied.

Bought this light to replace a nearly identical older Lights of America CFL unit. I wanted the new fixture to have the same footprint so I would not have to repaint the wall. Because it was identical in size to the older fixture that worked out very well. The only difference is the mounting hole in the new fixture is in a different place than the old fixture, which required drilling a new 3/;8 inch hole for the mounting nipple.The old fixture housing was much thicker than the new one. The new fixture works fine so far. I have only had this light fixture in use for a few weeks so I hope that it lasts as many years as the old CFL fixture.

Nice looking light

I think this light has a good appearance but it isn't very bright. I was replacing an old fixture because the light cover had discolored and didn't look good and the lighting was being diminished. The new light changed to just a lightbulb instead of the little LED dots, the cover is also frosted-like. It will do for now.

Very Bright and Effective

Lights are very bright and work as expected coming on at dusk and turning off at dawn. The brightness is more than expected but we live in the woods and appreciate the extra security.

The light serves my purpose and does put out a lot of light. I wanted an LED that I could change the bulb. That being said the unit is plastic so only time will see how well it holds up. The lens is secured by one of the tiniest of tiny screws. Of course I dropped the screw after I had the unit in place and ended up having to simply use electric tape to secure the lens to the unit. I do think the unit is over priced - but I did buy a 2nd unit since the light output is so good. I never even tried to use that tiny screw on the second unit but just taped the lens on to begin with.

Unit came with a lightbulb socket and an LED bulb instead of the pictured led board. The hole for the mounting bolt was drilled in the wrong place and I had to drill a new hole. If I didn't need it in a hurry I would have returned it. Very disappointed.

Not a motion sensing light

I bought this because it was listed as a motion sensing light, nope, it stays on and is not a motion activated light.

When the light comes on at dusk it stays on for a few min then flashes off then back on.It repeats that all night.I have tried 4 of this model and they all do it.

Very bright light

I purchased this light to replace my front door light. It was florescence and stopped working. This one looks exactly like it but it is LED. It is very bright, I have a 50' front yard and I can clearly see cars at the curb. I would recommend this light, simple to install, easy to use, turn on and leave it alone. It goes on and off by it's self.
