The product does not operate as a motion sensor as described. It is stuck on a DUSK TO DAWN setting. Installation was challenging as the provided screws broke as I twisted them.

This thing throws some light! Still trying to figure out the motion sensor which isn’t as easy to do.

Settings do nothing

This was the only one of these lights that was not obviously returned on the shelf, but it's worthless and will join the others on the shelf soon I suspect. The dials to adjust the time or duration of the light to be on does nothing. It's either in "test" mode or it's on for the rest of the night. No 1 minute, or 5 minute light on. The motion sensor only sees/reacts to a very narrow area in front of it. But you watch. I'll return it, and it'll end up on the shelf to sell to the next sucker.

Installation headache

I go to install and find out that for a surface mounted junction box, this fixture requires a special adapter that is not included with the unit. The adapter is not stocked locally so I had to order from HD online for home delivery. Try to install again and figure out that I was sent the wrong adapter. If your junction box is recessed into the wall, avoid this product.

When I purchased the front glass piece was broken off. Looks like someone had returned it and it was placed back on shelf for sale. Unhappy when you have to drive about 20 miles to return.

Sensor works so well. Had it a few days. We love it.

Very disappointing.

I have reset the three adjustments a half a dozen times. I can't get the light to work properly as expected. When the motion light comes on it stays on too long even with the timer set on minimum. This is second light. The first one was returned because the motion sensor only activated the light when you approached from the sides. There is no quality anymore.

Challenging install

Purchased to replace existing garage wall flood light. Difficult install due to "Easy install quick-connect" wiring feature. Plug kept disconnecting while mounting to wall. Several attempts by contractor to adjust for a tight enough connection, then tedious lining up the plugs each time. Better to twist wires together than depend on this plug-in style. (Optional base plate recommended by other reviews wasn't helpful or needed in our case.) Cannot recommend based on this $95 headache.

Easy install and it works as expected.

This replaces my old halogen fixture. Being that I'm not handy I had an electrician install. He said HALO was a good brand.

Works well but it would be even better if the light was adjustable.

The motion sensor doesn’t work. The light comes on at dusk and stays on all night.

The light seemed OK, but I wasn't able to install it. Besides being expensive, it turns out it requires a special base plate which no Home Depot within 25 miles of me had. So I had to return it and went somewhere else for a light (that mounted to a standard box).

Light has three adjustments, nice and bright can adjust dim time, would buy again

First light was broken. Seconds seems leak so water got inside. Other than tjsnk light is really bright

I just paid an electrician to install it and it doesn’t work .I bought it for the motion detector and it only works as a dusk to dawn light .

Excellent fixture. I had an electrician wire it up for the backyard. The calibration knobs for setting the timing are a little hard to turn and are also small in diameter. Otherwise operates ok.

Didn't last me a month replace for another one and last me about two months

Does not turn off..

As an electrician, I've installed quite a few of motion detectors. This one was so promising and I though with a name like Halo, it would be good. It has the same quirks a the cheap motion detectors. Mostly not turning off unless you put it in test mode. So disappointing!

The box was previously opened, the light was taken out of the box. The clear plastic cover was broken at the 4 screws holding it in place. The product was returned, taped up and put back on the shelf for an unsuspecting shopper to purchase it. Me!
