It would appear that my purchase was missing the plate used to secure the faucet to the counter top. Thankfully, I had left over parts from the faucet I removed and was able to complete the job without any major delays.
Kitchen faucet
I don't care for this faucet and will not purchase another. The neck is not far out enough which make it hard to clean pots. While it freely moves left and right is does not always stay in the position you place it. It does not show the water temperature based on the position of the handle. While this is not a problem for me, it could cause burns should I have company over. I corrected this problem by placing a sticker on it showing the direction in relation to the water temperature. Water drips from the faucet after use which then leaves water stains in the sink. I don't feel this faucet is worth it's cost.
Horrible product, horrible company
Just finished replacing this piece of crap with a Delta faucet. It is impossible to replace the aerator for the main stream, causing water to shoot out of the "shower" spray. I reached out to Moen for help, and they viewed my distress with their product as a marketing opportunity and refused to answer my question -- how do I fix your failing product -- as a marketing opportunity. I paid a plumber $250 to tell me he couldn't figure out how to get the aerator out, let alone where he could order a replacement. My wife is very happy with the Delta faucet I installed today as a replacement. I will never buy another Moen product. Incidentally, I would give this product zero stars but Moen is such a crappy company it insists I give it at least one.
3rd problem is not a charm
It wasn't the missing nut and gasket that affixes the faucet to the sink. No, I just took the whole box back to the store and swapped for a new one.
Crappy wand
It looks great and easy to install but the wand is crap… I am getting another replacement wand sent to me because it leaks/ sticks between settings. The wand lasts about 6 months then goes to crap. Every single one of these faucets has bad reviews on the wand quality, Moen should build us better wands and send those as replacements. I can’t afford a new faucet every time somebody makes something cheap because they have a good name behind it.
Knob to turn off spay mode is defective
Our tap is 1.5 years old. There is no way to completely turn off the spray mode. It stays in a half spray, half regular mode which is very annoying. It appears that the little knob that changes modes is defective and flimsy. I'm quite disappointed, as Moen was always considered the quality go-to for taps. So, even if they refund me I still need to get this thing changed.
Plastic nut to hold the entire faucet
Not only is it a cheap plastic nut instead of brass to hold the entire faucet to the sink, but Moen has stopped including paper instructions. You now have to scan a QR code and look at your tiny little phone and every time you are screen the screen goes black the instructions start over from the beginning. What, did they save three cents? The final insult for cheap garbage Home Depot faucets. Spend a few more dollars and go to a plumbing supply house.
Nice faucet, but...
We like the look of the faucet, BUT; the "Automatic Docking" feature of the pullout sprayer really doesn't work like it's shown in the video. It does retract because of the weight on the hose but it doesn't fully seat back into the main faucet neck so you have to push it back in to get it to seat properly. Also, when you shut the water off several drops of water drip from the faucet head. Neither of these issues are that big of a deal, but it just seems that it could have been engineered a bit better. We have put nothing but Moen in our homes and have always had good luck with them. The customer service is fantastic and the lifetime guarantee is a great feature, hopefully it's still in effect.Overall we are happy with the new faucet and would still buy Moen in the future.
Would definitely recommend to others, easy install
Looks great. Was worried that flow would seem low, but I can't tell the difference. Feels strong. Very easy to install, much easier to install than uninstalling my old one. The 'anti-fingerprint' coating works really well. My one complaint is the weight that was provided to help retract the faucet head is not heavy enough. When I let go of the faucet head, I want it to fully retract. It would retract, but not completely. So I added more weight to the hose under the sink and it retracts fully now. It doesn't feel very hard to pull out with the extra weight either.
Great Looking, Easy Install!
After enjoying a stylish Moen kitchen faucet purchased 10 years ago, we decided it was time to update our kitchen sink with a higher arc and a practical pull down faucet. We found that Moen has been an excellent company to deal with in the past with warranty, customer service and dependable reliability with their products. We are very happy with this purchase. We watched the concise hands-on Moen produced YouTube video to see if we could do this ourselves and it was a helpful, informative watch well worth the 4:47 minutes! It's entitled "Installing a Pullout Kitchen Faucet Moen Guided Installations": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MndxtJwwhk. The task of installing turned out to be a rapid, trouble free attempt for us and we are enjoying the faucet a lot. There were 3 attractive finishes to choose from; Chrome, Black or Stainless Steel with the Spot Resistant finish. We chose the satin finish 'Stainless' Spot Resistant finish (SRS is at the end of the model # on the box) and are very pleased with our choice as we have similar 'Adler' spot-resistant fixtures elsewhere in the house. Prices might vary a bit on each finish, so choose your favourite and compare for yourself. This faucet is solid, the design is classic and and it functions beautifully in it's simplicity. Most importantly? Do register your product with Moen right away and retain, copy, send or phone scan your original proof of purchase in the event of further parts or support. There's a card in the box on different registration methods. Easy-peasy. We love our new faucet and feel we made a great choice!
Look at other Company's before purchasing MOEN
This was and has to be the worst product that I have purchased. MOEN use to be a great Product and a great company. They have gone downhill and put out some horrible products. After uninstalling an Old Moen Kitchen Faucet that started leaking and could not be fixed I decided to purchase another MOEN Kitchen Faucet, which was a Hugh Mistake. After getting the New Faucet Installed with 5 minutes of less the Faucet started leaking from the handle and within the main mechanism and running down under the sink and soaking the pads. Pretty disappointed as I had to order this Faucet on-line and taking a week to get in. I removed the Defective Faucet and returned it to Lowes and purchased a New Pfizer Kitchen Faucet which was better built and much better quality. A week later the Pfizer Faucet is holding up and working great. MOEN should note and follow there example. Seems that Moen no longer has Quality Control.
Instructions hard to find. Should have been in box
I can't write a full review yet, because it isn't installed yet. That's because there's no instruction manual in the box. You have to go online. Unfortunate, but we're learning to tolerate that...
We installed this faucet in the second (smaller) sink in the kitchen. It comes with a plate to cover 2 side holes in the sink -- so the transition from the old (3-hole) faucet to this one was easy. What finally sold me on this faucet was the tighter curve of the tube compared to the standard kitchen faucet. Due to the small size of the sink, the stream of water from the standard one hit the sink wall and then splashed all over. Not any more! Looks classy and stylish. Overall, a great product.
Manufacturing ERROR
Rec'd. my faucet 2 months ago. Finally ready to install, but the copper down-rod was not attached to the main unit. It is probably a manufacturering error. The down-rod is NECESSARY for installation!!! It holds the faucet in place, and is also is used to feed the extension line to the sprayer. I will call MOEN tomorrow, and I am sure they will replace the faucet body. I've been a MOEN user for 20 years, and they have always shipped parts immediately! I haven't lost faith in MOEN yet.
A disappointment
Apparently they make faucets out of plastic now. Fault me for thinking that a faucet called a "Spot Resist Stainless" would be made of stainless steel, but this product disappoints. The U-shaped portion of the device wiggles in its attachment to the base, and the whole contraption feels cheap in the hands. $159 for a cheap plastic faucet. Lesson learned. I chose Moen because I grew up in a house with Moen faucets, which were made of metal and felt sturdy when using them, unlike this thing, which feels flimsy and leaves me feeling ripped off.
Smaller than expected
We replaced a dripping kitchen faucet made by another company and I ordered the Adler online. It was a great price, but I was surprised at how small it was. I should have gone to look at one before we ordered. It wasn't difficult to install. It works okay, but has a lower flow/pressure than our previous faucet. But, it doesn't drip, so we will just adjust to the lower pressure and the smaller size.
Looks great. Water stream pressure is good with spray or not. nozzle is very narrow & it's small so gripping is uncomfortable for my achy hands. The handle on right is that pull down type . So when your hands are wet u push it back upright and leaves water pooling on back counter. Had the breklyn faucetbwhich I loved but had two less so tried this one. So far so good. Trying to get use to the pull down hose and angle. It's not comfortable positioning for your fingers or wrists.
This is a beautiful faucet. I'm hoping that the Spot Resist Stainless is just that. Time will tell. The only reason I did not give it five stars was the fact that the assembly was not a job for one person. You need two people. One to hold the faucet centered on the deckplate while one tightens the bolt underneath. And unless you have four hands, it's impossible. But all that aside, I would recommend this faucet.
Narrow stream of water. Plastic parts.
This faucet feels cheap. The rocker switch that changes the stream from spray to stream is cheap plastic and will probably break over time. It didn't come with the appropriate washer to mount it directly on a granite countertop (as shown in the product photos), so our plumber had to provide one. The stream/spray of water that it puts out is extremely narrow. Even less than comes out of our bathroom faucet. I would not recommend this faucet at all unless you don't plan on using it. If you're just looking for something that will look good in photos, then this is fine, but the functionality of this faucet is very disappointing. Unfortunately it's nearly impossible to know that this will be the case until you have it installed, as the display in the stores is way up high on a wall, so you can't even get close enough to see it.
Highly disappointed
We bought this faucet last spring and installed it in April when we got a new countertop and sink installed. I did a ton of research on faucets and thought this was the best one for the price. The feature I was really interested in was the auto changing back to stream from spay when the water is turned off. I contacted Moen support on 4/20 reporting that it was leaking from the handle. (This is just days after installation and after making sure everything was installed properly.) They quickly sent a replacement part and all seemed while for the time being. I then had to contact them on 11/18 for the handle leaking again and the feature of the nozzle auto reverting back to stream when left on spray after turning off the water failing to work. We again received parts to fix the issues, however, it is now 3/5 and the same issues are happening and the faucet is wobbly. My husband has check all the gaskets and made sure everything is tight. We are highly disappointed with this Moen product. We are ready to shop for a new faucet after not even having this one for a full year. The customer service has been great but I expected better quality from a well known brand.
