Good sturdy base
Once I put this umbrella stand together it looks good & works well. The instructions are not very clear as to where the screw is to hold the bottom on. It's actually located in the cylinder as pictured in my photo. The other thing is the hard piece of plastic that is supposed to just slip on that cylinder is very hatd to pull apart to get on...I had to struggle with it to get it open enough to put on. Once it was all together, it works very well and is very sturdy. You can also add water in it to weigh it down.

I got this outdoor umbrella base recently to replace a metal one that had become worn and rusty with exposure to the weather.
