The electric awning is beautiful and the color matches that on the webpage. A electrician is on his way to hardwire the motor to the interior so we will not need to be concerned with using the outlet outside on the patio. We saved $4500 over quoted by several local companies.

Love our awning! Extremely heavy. Took awhile to find someone to help with lifting it and then spent a few days working with Awntech to find out why it was not opening. Once issues were resolved it works perfectly.

My Balcony Became a Balcony Again!

Living in a city apartment, balconies are pretty tiny. This awning is the perfect size for mine, and it makes a world of difference. Now, I can actually use my balcony without feeling like I'm baking in a toaster oven.

We replaced a crank down model the we had for almost 20 years with an electric awaning with a wind sensor. Works great.

Took a long time for delivery and white part on fabric awning came covered with grease, but otherwise a nice awning.

I ordered this awning to provide shade on a south facing deck. I was impressed by the quality of the motorized awning and it makes this sunny area a useable place to enjoy.

Overall, it's nice, but it hangs a bit crooked because the adjustment bolts for the frame tilt are no good. The nuts inside the frame spin and even trying to wedge a screwdriver it to hold the nuts didn't work as the bolt wouldn't turn. This was on one side, but then on the other side, the adjustment didn't work properly. I'm not sending it back because it is acceptable in how it's sitting now and it's way too heavy to deal with unless it's really bad. But, the adjustment bolts are a problem I would recommend considering.

This awning itself is fantastic. Super sturdy and looks great. But the installation instructions weren't the clearest.

Awning Good So Far

Keeps the house cooler. Gives shade while sitting outside on patio. Gives the feeling of an outdoor room. So far, so good after 3-4 months.

Works well for sunlight control over sliding glass door.

Our patio is on a southern exposure and the low winter sun can be blinding through the sliding door mornings through mid-day. This retractable awning helps control the light and provides more ac energy savungs.
