This sofa is everything I imaged and some! Had my eye on this sofa for over three years and let me tell you it was the wait!!! It is more beautiful in person. I was hesitant at first because of the negative reviews and I know everything is different for everyone and I so glad and extremely satisfied withe product. I will have to change the living room around so that everything can fit as it should due to the end tables are so large but I love every piece I have purchased from the Versailles brown cherry collection this fur. I am looking forward to my next pitches of the matching dining room collection!!!

Brought this sofa from overstock, from April 4, still have not receive the sofa. I called overstock customer service, several time to get updates and when the sofa would be deliverer. I was told from different customers service agents, so many stories. I was told that I refused the sofa, sofa is damages, the sofa is back at the warehouse in Georgia, last update 6/1 is the sofa is missing, overstock will give you a refund. After patiently waiting on this sofa for the last two months, this is the type of service overstock offers their customer, not acceptable be aware when doing business with this company.

No real wood, only lasted 2 years! Cheap!!

Love the look of this sofa because it fits in with my Victorian interiors well being a modern piece. I needed something that would blend in but also be more comfortable than some of my period pieces. Sadly for a $3,000 sofa its trash! Only been a few years and its started sagging in the center, upholstery tacks falling off and the zipper has come off after the cushion covers kept shifting off of the cushion inserts. Took the backing off the underside to see what the issue was and low and behind only 4 springs for an entire sofa! Cheap compressed board that was warped, cracking everywhere abs several joints not even attached together or badly staples. No nails or wood glue seen and the few screws holding it together where holes were never pre-drilled so the wood has cracked in those places. I might expect that quality from Ikea, but I think even that would be an insult as their stuff is probably built better than this. Not what Id expect for that hefty price tags. As far as the upholstery tacks randomly falling off, might be because the 1/8 inch board in the front isnt thick enough to hold them in! I would NEVER recommend this sofa. Certainly not worth the price. I wouldnt even pay a grand for it over again. Its great if you only plan to have it for 2 years but anything longer than that youre wasting a lot of money. Seems like no matter what you pay you just dont get good quality furniture anymore

This is not wood "it's made with Fiberglass legs when I receive my order and proceeded to get it in my home I noticed that the legs were broken on both Sofas " This is not a good product"

This couch is gorgeous (and massive), and I LOVE it. It is a rich chocolate brown velvet with velvet burnout pattern on the seat and pillows. It is well made. Once I've made the decorative adjustments in my living room space, I will post photos.

Great sofa!

If you have the space for it/them, these sofas are a great deal! They look like sofas that cost twice as much or more. The cushions are very firm but can be easily replaced or modified if you want, thanks to the zippered seat covers. Make sure you check the dimensions! They would not fit through my 37-wide hallway so I had to bring them through the back of the house.

Save your pennies for the Versailles Sofa when shopping for furniture. No need to broadcast that you'll have enough little Lincolns in no time to make your purchase on 1StopBedroom. Let them think you spent big bucks to get this kind of style. The fact that the Versailles is all about quality and style rather than price remains our secret...and oh yeah, everyone else's who reads this review too.
