Love the Moen products, this line ("Retreat") looks great and is very sturdy. One thing to know about this toilet paper holder: The rod is several inches longer than a typical household roll needs. It won't hold two rolls side by side - it isn't that much longer - so not sure why the extra room on the rod. Be aware of this and check measurements if getting this holder. It wasn't an issue for my installation and I love it, but it my be too long (wide) for some.

I like the square mounts against the wall because I think they look more "designer" than what you typically get at a big box store. I like this series because of that, but I'm not a fan of the round balls that hold the rod--I think they make it look less sophisticated. But I guess I don't hate it that much because I'm probably going to order the matching towel bars.

Love this for my kids bathroom, it pivots up to replace the roll which is easy for children (and everyone) rather than any other type of holder. LOVE IT!

I have difficulty with hand pain and gripping. Changing the toilet paper roll always caused me pain with the tension rods in most. This one, just lift up the bar, remove the old roll and put new roll on. Great for elderly, although, I'm only in my early 50's. You will fall in love with it too!

Exactly what you'd expect from this manufacturer: solid construction and attractive design. My favorite thing about this product is the swivel spindle. No more tension springs to reload the TP!

My girlfriend would not put the toilet paper on the holder after she used up a previous roll. She would just set the roll on the sink where it was in the way and liable to get wet. This caused a great strain on our relationship. After nagging for months about the issue, and insinuating that she was a savage, I decided to change my approach. I asked her why she could not replace the roll. She said it was because the big rolls do not fit, they rub against the side of the sink, and also she does not like touching the dirty roller. So I bought this. I pummeled the old roll-holder off with a rubber mallet and installed this beautiful apparatus. The pivoting mechanism allows one to replace the roll by lifting up on the used cardboard tube, so she does not have to touch the "dirty" roller. It is also long enough so that the biggest rolls fit with room to spare. This product saved my relationship. Would recommend. Good communication is everything.

Great - so much better than spring loaded versions. Looks substancial, easy to change paper and it will hold the larger rolls of toilet paper. Much cheaper than items in big box stores. Husband installed, no problems.

Excellent quality...have had it for years now and it's still like brand new. I love the pivoting bar for replacing the rolls...I purchased a different brand with the same feature and it works terribly...but this one works great!

The holders are nice, but they are longer standard and didn't fit on our wall. And then when I tried to return them, Wayfair said that they are non-returnable because they were clearance items. Not only did I not know that you couldn't return clearance items, BUT I didn't see anything to that effect when I checked out. I love Wayfair, but am really ticked off about this. I would never buy anything that wasn't returnable! Product gets 3 stars because the size is larger than usual. But the service and communication gets 0 stars!

Good holder

Love the looks of this holder. Very easy to install and takes just a few minutes. The only drawback is the holder is a bit wide for the toilet paper but thats just my opinion.

Design is so close

Good looking. It couldn't be easier to change the toilet paper. However because the bar is such a small diameter the paper wobbles too much on the holder. Also the mounts are spaced an inch or two farther apart than standard. I've remodeled 3 of my bathrooms with these and they don't match up with the previous holes. I see no reason why to design it this way.

Nice toilet paper holder

I purchased for both master bath and kids bathrooms after whole house renovation. The chrome finish complements our fixtures. I like the hinge that flips up -- rather than having a spring loaded bar to hold the toilet paper. Easy to install, looks good. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.
