Great Product!

I have installed many of these Akdy Niches and they always look great! They are made well and very sturdy. Easy to install with silicone. One thing I have noticed is that the RO dimensions that the product manual gives are a little tight so I always add a half inch to the dimensions. Just something to be aware of! Overall great product!

When I came across this niche, I didn't realize that stainless steel options were available outside of tiled niches. Not only does this niche look sleek and beautiful in our primary bath, it's extremely functional in our super tight space. Can't recommend this enough and can't wait to incorporate into another bath remodel down the road!

Nice storage for the shower

A very nice pre-built stainless steel niche. Packaging was very nice. Similar to a high end kitchen sink. Product looks great and was easy to install.

Fit this into our shower, so much easier than tiling a niche. The flat black matched perfectly with our faucets as well.

Coating chipped off

We love the look of this niche and it made our DIY shower tile job so much easier to slide this in vs tile a niche. However, after about 9 months of use the coating has started to chip off and exposing the metal below. I don't even know what to do to stop the chipping or cover/repair the problem.

My Second Review Shower Finished

So I wanted to write a second review since we finished the shower and installed this niche. I love this! Installation was a piece of cake! The quality is great for the price!! I wish I would have bought 2! Its a nice accent to my beautiful tile!

Looks nice and easy to install

I DIY-ed my shower wall, so I was looking for a niche that wouldn't require fancy tile work on the edges and this is it. Just silicone the edges and shove it into the hole in the wall. That being said, the edge doesn't sit flat, so you either need to precision-apply silicone or use a lot of it. I also put the shelf on a drier shower wall so it has less contact with water. I've noticed little standing water in it. I wish it was bigger because we have a lot of bottles to store.

this is the perfect size for what we need. Very durable. Not the easiest to clean

This was purchased as a bit easier than to tile a niche and it installed very easy, very nice looking- time will tell if it rusts

Beautiful shower shelf

Shelves look awesome. I installed them over a PVC shiplap shower and the laps on the board we're not 100% flat, so I used some black stainless screws hidden in the corners to draw the shelf in tight.
