Beautiful medicine cabinet (we have ours outside mounted with the extra kit), but not soft close. For this price and brand I didn’t expect the doors to slam upon closing, which is jarring when it’s a mirror. There is a similar, more expensive version of this that is soft close.

Game changer!

I never thought a medicine cabinet could make such a difference in my life. It looks very neat. It keeps little things and bottles and clutter off of my small countertop. I love opening it and seeing all of my skincare products, lined up neatly, ready for use. Just like at a boutique. I think the thing I love most is the addition of the adjustable magnifying mirror! I almost didn't get it, didn't think it was necessary. Oh, it is. When the door is opened, it brings that little mirror right to my face. For me now, this is desperately need for applying eye makeup, especially, and all makeup now. Now I don't have to keep an extra mirror on the countertop. I really love it and will always have these now.

6 years in and experiencing mirror rust/oxidation

we love the size, layout and versatility of the Kohler Triple Door Medicine Cabinet, especially for our small home with limited bathroom space. But, sadly, we've had the unit for six years now and are seeing mirror rust/rot on multiple edges, which, we know, will only continue to get worse. If it weren't for the fact that we're likely to only have a 10-year lifespan for this unit/model, I would give the cabinet a five star. But knowing we're not far from having to purchase an entirely new cabinet, I can only give this 2 stars.

Well Built and Beautiful Medicine Cabinet.

This is a very nice medicine cabinet. Well built. Installation instructions were not included; however, for how to install on a wall and not embedded in the wall. I had to find them online, which took some time.

Mirror was beautiful. 5 years later, mirror finish is deteriorating.

Bought the mirror and installed in March of 2017.

Pictures don’t do it justice. This mirror is PERFECT! Tons of space, flush mount so the lights hang over the front instead of lighting up the top, hidden indents for smudge free opening. Mirrored doors open so you can see the back of your head while styling. All three doors are mirrored front and back. Back of cabinet also mirrored. Only complaint is that it isn’t soft close. Not an issue for me but my husband has to adjust his slamming )

Great mirror poor quality

I bought this medicine cabinet 3 years ago for our new bathroom. Now the bottom shelf which is part of the frame is rusting. I spoke to a representative and she said it only has a 1 year warranty which has ended. I thought I was buying a quality product for the price. It’s own specs says it’s rustproof and chip resistant. Very disappointing.

Worst vanity mirror ever

This was bought and installed 3 years ago and already looks rusty and corroded on edges. Contacted our contractor several times and have not heard back. Called Kohler and was told it’s out of warranty. Great company to buy from…NOT. Won’t waste money on any of their products again.

Great Product! Very Happy, but ...

It's a great product and works very well for our new family bathroom! Huge upgrade. It is very well made and arrived very well packaged without any bumps or bruises. The frame, mirrors, shelves, and hinges are all high quality. However, the cabinet itself was only about 40% of the total cost, we had to re-frame the bathroom wall and move plumbing. Yes, we'd do it again.

Almost perfect!

I bought the 3 door cabinet and I love the clean lines. The center door has an adjustable swing but the two side doors do not. I thought the side doors would swing out, one to right and one to left to make inside easily asscssible but that is not the case. They both open towards the center mirror. Haven't used the mag mirror yet. I would have rated this as a 5 except for the door swing.

Holy storage!

I bought this medicine cabinet while redoing my master bathroom. It was definitely a splurge item but I'm so glad I bought it! This cabinet has tons of storage and comes with lots of shelves so you can fit items of all sizes in it. We had originally planned to hang it on the wall because we didn't think we'd be able to recess it. After we opened the wall up, we realized that the plumbing would not interfere so we were able to recess it into the wall. It looks great! There are mirrors everywhere on this thing! I especially love the small magnifying mirror inside the center door. You can slide it up and down to get the right height and I use it for everything from putting my contacts in, to putting on my makeup.

Do yourself a favor and don't purchase this lousy product!

Purchased two of these very expensive medicine cabinets and had them professionally installed six years ago. I incorrectly assumed they would last for 20 + years. This one probably cost me $1,000.00 with installation so that's a lot to spend for a medicine cabinet that only lasted six years. Now the mirror that is attached to the back inside the cabinet is falling off inside the wall and all four mirror on the outside of the two cabinets are loosing the reflectivity on the edges. I contacted customer service and they will give me 25% off a new one. Well, the actual medicine cabinets are now $800.00 + each, and you still have to pay for installation. They have gone up 35% since they were purchased so the discout doesn't even cover inflation. Just want to say thanks Kohler for the poor suppoprt after spending thousands on all new Kohler products during our remodel. Won't happen again. You may want to deal with your poor manufacturing process.

It's huge and spacious. Its a huge medical cabinet along with mirrors. Saves ton of storage space that we had been struggling with. Also a great space saver. I don't think this can be installed on our own. Contractor installed the cabinet during a bathroom renovation. Overall, very good product. Inside is also mirrored and does the job very well. Need some additional parts to be ordered - these people could have included for the cost we are paying for the product.

Easy surface installation. Our install was in an alcove, so we did not require the optional mirror side panels.

No surprises.

Everything as expected. The cabinet was what I expected - arrived undamaged - and there were no problems with a recessed mounting. No surprises. That's good. One consideration for anyone purchasing an item 48 inches wide (or more). If I had it to do over again, I would have found a cabinet where the left and the right doors open outward. It's more user friendly that way. But I'm very happy with this one. It looks really good in my bathroom.

Super Great!

Wow, I love the mirror! The packing kept the product in pristine condition. Modern styling is beautiful. All hinges and slides work flawlessly and quietly as advertised when compared with other products on the market. This product is excellent. It has been seen by guests in my home and they are very impressed. The depth of the shelves allows us to put full size products in the cabinet unlike other medicine cabinets. The added space has reduced the need for extensive under the sink storage and eliminated clutter on the counter top. It is worth every penny I spent each time I walk by or use the space where it is located.

This cabinet was installed between two 2x4's so the holes that hold the plastic supports needed to be drilled out to put the supports in. They could have made the walls thicker or the plastic piece inserts shorter so this wouldn't be necessary. The magnifiing mirror is cheap plastic and does not stay in place when pushed into position. Don't release from too high as it will slide down the length of the mirror and burst out the bottom and clatter onto the countertop. We bought two of these and both exhibit the same defect. The plastic pieces used for the sliding mirror don't fit in the groove tightly. Other than the signature adjustable mirror which makes this cabinet unique the rest of it is excellent.

A very nice modern looking cabinet. Fairly easy to hang (I used surface mount installation but recessed is also possible). In some surface mount applications, you will need to order "side covers" to make the exposed sides of the cabinet look nice. In my case, the bathroom wall is narrow enough that you can't see the sides of the cabinet anyway, so it did not matter for me.

High Quality

I done a recess installation in the wall and replaced two lights with one. You want to make sure what is inside the wall before you start cutting an opening for the cabinet. Likely to discover plumbing vent and wiring. Just measure the part of cabinet that recesses into wall and cut an opening that adds about 3-1/4 inches for 2x4 framing. Make sure your frame is plumb and located where you want to clear light fixtures and vanity. Loved the way doors come off/on for easy install. Here are couple pics of my before/after. Wife very happy.

Just installed

I only gave a 4 star because it has been hanging on my wall for mere hours. I needed a cabinet to replace an older one that two out of three mirrors had fallen off. I was worried about having equal cabinet space as my old cabinet and am pleased to find that this has as much or more. I was looking for a multi mirror with doors that angle so I can see the back of my head when styling my hair. That style can be a bit dated but this version has a nice modern feel to it.This piece was the nicest I could find with the best features. I trust Kohler so am hopeful it will hold up. Love the mirrors on front and back of the doors as well as back of the cabinet. The magnifier mirror is a lovely touch.
