Perfect

I started baking bread a couple of years ago and this baker is perfect all around. It transmits the heat evenly throughout the loaf. It creates the best crust on the sides. Tip: Make sure to butter it thoroughly and sprinkle some flour on bottom. The butter ensures that the loaf comes out easily. The extra flour on the bottom adds another layer of earthy flavor to the bread.

Arrived promptly and intact due to great packaging. The color is a vibrant red. I haven't used it yet but that's on my list for this week's activities. Looking forward to an excellent crust on my home baked bread.

Works well for gluten free bread

The bread loaf baker makes a lovely loaf. I make gluten free bread and it worked really well and gave a lovely crust which is very hard to get with gluten free bread. I did find that the first time I put too big a loaf in an it hit the top of the lid and made the top a funny shape but it still tasted great. And now I've adjusted and it works beautifully. Its nice and small and easy to store compared with my larger cast iron cloche. Recommend!

Fantastic bread maker! I am enjoying making bread so I know I don’t eat all those extra sugars & additives that is in regular store bought bread.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Backform, Funktion und das anschließende Ergebnis sind tadellos. Es gib einen kleinen Wermutstropfen. Die Form kam hier als B- Ware an. Am Deckel ist eine kleine Macke.

Nice baker

Bakes a nicely shaped, small loaf of bread. I always take the lid off for the last 10 minutes as the top doesn't brown with the lid on even after brushing with water. Bought to replace using my cast iron pot for baking.

Love this bread baker, the bread comes out nice & crispy outside & soft inside

I was truly surprised by the wonderful texture of the crust. The bread slipped from the baker without sticking. My first effort was using the recipe from the pamphlet I received with the baker.

Useful but over engineered

I cook my bread using the base only. The lid stops the final prove from getting to its full potential.

Buy this if you want to make sandwich bread and if you like to buy items that were manufactured well and will last at least a lifetime.
