Built solid, looks beautiful, works great. Great lamp to put next to your reading, crafts chair. A beautiful piece which works well in a modern room or because of the wood and brass base also in a log home or rustic atmosphere!

Beautiful lamp and shade. Would recommend. Only thing I dislike is they ship using styrophome which is always a mess disposing of.

Great Lamp!

Just unpacked my lamp and it's perfect. Great quality. Very nicely packaged so everything came out not broken. Taller than I thought but still love it.

Wonderful lamp.

I am extremely happy with the quality and build of the lamp. The shade arrived with a bit of glue on one section and Americanhome was quick to send me a replacement shade at no cost. Very pleased with the service.

LOVE this lamp. It's on the tall size so make sure it doesn't overpower your room. The light it provides is exactly what I wanted. The design is gorgeous.

Beautiful Lamp

The room had lots of brass and glass already so the wood fits nicely with the decor which is transitional. The shade is white to off-white and not lined so see the linen texture when on which is nice - it seems a slightly light beige when turned on - like the picture online. Lovely classic design that looks great in my family room. The brass on the lamp is an antique brass. The lamp allows you to choose three brightness levels and the on/off switch is located at the shade. Three lighting choices, on/off switch at lamp shade, beautiful design

It's a very lovely lamp. It's tall, so it works well in my living room, which has high, vaulted ceilings. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is because of the socket. It's not well made. Soft metal, and it was challenging to get the bulb to sit straight.
